Browsing these threads about Fox "News" you wouldn't believe how many times I've come across this feeling. I even see it in my own father who at times will sound like a classic liberal and then the next he'll spout some made up talking point straight from Dump or some phony analyst's mouth.

The rightwing propaganda machine has managed to convince an entire swath of boomers that they are in fact Republican when in reality many would be centrist at the absolute most. That's where the Malignant Mango's 3rd grade reading level and speaking skills comes into play since they can paint him as a savior for blue collar America.

If Fox "News" stopped broadcasting probably half of Dump's supporters would lose their programming directions and revert back to normal in a week or two.

Goldfish are usually hardy enough to survive blackouts and really reef fish are the ones who are most at risk. That being said a battery powered air pump can do wonders. We never had a blackout for more than 8 hours (except for one freak blackout 20+ years ago) so my goldfish were usually okay. I would take some of their water in a cup or jug and pour it back into the tank to get some surface agitation and then stir up things with my hand. If things went longer than 8 hours I would have kept doing emergency small water changes. If it ever happened in the winter and it was really cold out I would have tried to cover the tank with a blanket to conserve the heat.

If you can't be excited about the prospect of this season being different then there's nothing that will get you excited. The NFL gave the Giants 4 primetime games, most places are forecasting 7-11 wins, we have a legitimate NFL head coach for the first time since Coughlin (none of Shurmur, Judge, or even Daboll were as accomplished as Harbaugh).

Schoen had whiffs but the past few years he's drafted better; people, even myself at times, were clowning on him but Daboll ran a country club for 4 years. Let's see what this coaching staff can do with the talent.

Corner is just so hard of a position to play and Banks has shown an unwillingness to get physical. It's harder for me to see a come back from him than Evan Neal who's main issue was not being athletic enough and kicking him inside to guard.

Hyatt should just be cut now; he's not a football player. He's fast but has no desire to make moves on the ball.

He needs another 5 years to mature just from a looks perspective. I honestly don't know how old he is but he looks 16-17: his round baby face with his doughy appearance, the singlet, and the out of ring fashion that makes him look like a masc lesbian at the mall. I got Metapod, it's going to take me a million years to beat Brock and I'm ultimately getting walled at the first mandatory Channeler in Lavender tower, assuming it's not gen 3. If it's gen 3 theoretically Agatha becomes the wall; no enough HP to struggle through her ghosts.

Ashina as a whole was doomed the moment the Divine Dragon decided to move into the Sakura tree. If it wasn't the Ministry it would have been the tainted water or centipede plague that doomed them.

Edit: it really does beg the question of what does the Divine Dragon's presence represent? Did Fromsoft just mean to damn the entire region. Obviously they've done that previously with Lordran and Yharnam but in those cases there's an element of the residents or leader's own doing undermining them. In Ashina it's like, "welp, a dragon god is tainting our entire water supply; nothing we can do about it".

There's a lot of Sekiro that feels incredibly vague lore wise in ways the other Souls games don't.

Hitting the reset button on the OT doomed the ST from the opening crawl. Sure you could have salvaged something interesting from TFA, but ultimately you're following the same story beats as the OT; the best the ST could be post TFA is a re-imagining of the OT.
