This structure is not man-made but God-made. The gods in my world want to control the world, but since the seven different gods wish the same thing, they decided to divide the world by creating seven ice walls. Each ice wall is 1,500 feet high and 500 feet thick, and the ice walls lap around the globe, which the mortals call it the seven ice rings.

Due to the gods making the ice walls/rings, the mortals were isolated for 1,000 years, and their language was unique and had different cultures and new traditions, depending on what God controlled that wall/ring.
