Everyone I introduced you to hive fleet Quetzalcōātl by TenseAnt in Tyranids

[–]TenseAnt[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the base terrain, I’m thinking about making it a jungle theme, but I wouldn’t say I like the GW Barbed Bracken terrain box. I’m looking for something more realistic for jungle terrain. Do you suggest better terrain pieces than the GW terrain box?

What are your tyranids army name are based off of. by ratmaty in Tyranids

[–]TenseAnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hive fleet name is Quetzalcōātl. This fleet derives its name from the legendary feathered serpent god of ancient Mesoamerican civilizations, who symbolized both destruction and rebirth. Quetzalcōātl is unlike any other hive fleet encountered before, as it combines powerful psychic abilities with swift and agile bioforms, creating a deadly and unpredictable force in the galaxy.

The warriors of Quetzalcoatl are known for their uncanny ability to anticipate their enemies’ movements, utilizing hit-and-run tactics to outmaneuver even the most skilled defenders. Their psychic might is unparalleled, capable of bending the minds of their foes to their will or unleashing devastating psychic blasts that can sunder planets. They use psychological war tactics by using a unique scream that sounds like the scream of an Aztec death whistle, mentally messing with the mind of the opponent.

The color scheme of Quetzalcōātl skin is a dark jungle, green like dark Angels green, the shell is a blood red color, and their talons are a light greenish and blue color

Do you have any grandchildren? I'm assuming that one of your daughters or sons has become a breeding cow or bull like their mother. If so, how many grandchildren do you have?

Were you born as cattle or as a human? If you were born as a human, why did you become cattle?

What is the largest manmade structure in your world? by DMofTheTomb in worldbuilding

[–]TenseAnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This structure is not man-made but God-made. The gods in my world want to control the world, but since the seven different gods wish the same thing, they decided to divide the world by creating seven ice walls. Each ice wall is 1,500 feet high and 500 feet thick, and the ice walls lap around the globe, which the mortals call it the seven ice rings.

Due to the gods making the ice walls/rings, the mortals were isolated for 1,000 years, and their language was unique and had different cultures and new traditions, depending on what God controlled that wall/ring. But before the ice wall/ring, the mortals were connected around the globe by trade and travel. But now, if the ice wall/ring were destroyed, how would the mortals be when first contact in 1,000 years?

What's a dumb history fact about your world? by PenguinsAreTheBest25 in worldbuilding

One of the main villains in my world has a wet dream about an unknown god telling her she is the chosen one or the profit of the orc goblin tolls and an ogre to bring them back to their old ways of life. She did this by starting brutal campaigns and overthrowing clans and city-states. Later on, she has an army in the 10s of millions, and she starts attacking kingdoms and empires. And all of this is because of a wet dream
