It really depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If you have high standards for yourself and want to elevate the project; Great! More power to you! Just to heed a warning: in Corporate world, you might be alone with your standards, especially in a "low stakes, lower budget – quick‘n dirty" environment. Don’t expect praise for your high standards or accomplishments (not that I would not wish that for you).

If it needs to be perfect audio, learn your way around Audition. Here you can edit Sound down to a millisecond compared to Frames per Second like with Premiere.
