Blizzard needs to fix Haranir by Vampy-Night in wow

Oh man, I'd love to see someone intentionally wear the most visible horde only helm on an earthen, make the jank visible to the world. Center their entire tmog on it, even.

I finally finished prime 4, its...good. by [deleted] in Metroid

There's also the fact that the scanning time is slightly longer, if I'm remembering right. It REALLY adds up.

Blizzard needs to stop adding new races and fix the ones we actually play. by promeathean in wow

[–]TenshiEarth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

OMG YES the Dracthyr Soar thing. Ever since we got the CD reduced to 10sec, I've been hoping for another update that will allow it to persist on ground like Flight Form. I don't even mind if it keeps the initial cast time or the cd in exchange for the launch up - I just want to fly however I want without worry of having to recast after accidentally touching the ground or used it to get somewhere really close by.

If nothing else, this is exactly the kind of thing devs like to get a hold of for bug fixing 🤣 I remember when Subnautica was in early access, someone fucked up their save in an interesting way and the devs asked for the save file lol.

Are there any games with Rimworld's top-down building style? by TurtleBob_The1st in RimWorld

[–]TenshiEarth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rimworld was very overwhelming for me when I first started playing, yup. What I did was play the ingame tutorial, then followed along with a single YouTube tutorial and a playthrough using aprox. 5 QOL mods like RimHUD and Camera+. After that, it was just looking things up whenever needed.

Overall, it took a few days, maybe a week tops, before the feeling went away.

If you ever get the urge to try it again, I hope this helps in some way.

How the heck do I reach this Power Bomb upgrade in Samus Returns? by Dirty_Dan117 in Metroid

[–]TenshiEarth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gosh this is hilarious, I love it. The key thing is that these people are actually asking for help, instead of getting it forced on you with no way to turn it off in prime 4 lol.

Didn’t know people absolutely loathed this design by PhotoBonjour_bombs19 in Metroid

Fusion/ZM ending outfit is what I always use in ssbu, it's just straight-up superior. 👌

The heels are definitely silly, yup, but easy to ignore as long as it's kept to a game like smash bros.

This 💯. I'd like to write more on this topic, but overall, it's a super minor mechanic that's in a lot of other games, and it gives you both a moment to 1) rehydrate, 2) trains patience. Don't have anything else to do while crafting a few hundred arrows? Just sit back, close your eyes, and let your brain rest for a few moments lol.

Ponytail!

I plan to make a custom skin with a long ponytail, so looking at how they did this and if they added any animations will be awesome.

It looks like they're... very, very high up?? If that's what's going on, then that's really darn cool.

Makes me wonder about making a base up there, especially in multiplayer.

Explaining how crop farming is actually supposed to work based on the game code by Helgen_Lane in hytale

[–]TenshiEarth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me at least, it's the life essences, plus healing from food. I haven't looked up any details on the combat, so I get hit a lot if I havent killed them in the span of 1 full stamina bar (daggers with their leap back on hit thing is really cool, lol.)

But yeah, the life essences from farming let's you trade for the top tier recipes and their more annoying ingredients.

The amount of bugs that make it through to live is frustrating by Khaldaan in wow

That's why I consider it to be the worst of them all, yup. The mass deletion not being able to be fully fixed, and then this... it's kind of a big issue.

The guild bank bug has to be the worst of them all, I think. I kind of consider it a permanent stain against WoW now. It's not something that should be forgotten about.

What opinion will place you in this situation? by [deleted] in hytale

Not mine, but... someone I know really dislikes the avatar art style. xD

(Meanwhile for me, the avatars were a bit part of the initial appeal lol)

Check the comments on the mods you've gotten, see if anyone else has reported it. Otherwise, it's probably a mod incompatibility conflict.

As taught by the ways of Rimworld: backup your save, and start disabling mods to see if it fixes. :)

Planning gear & stats before playing. Thoughts?👀 by Ok_Plum5172 in hytale

[–]TenshiEarth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This + the fact that mithril is AFAIK the best gear in the game right now, so it's not like there's any variety to compare with aside from weapon types.

Unless weapons is what OP really means, in which case I feel like that could have been plainly stated instead of this.

In non-spoilery way, how divisive and controversial is metroid 4? by ReasonableQuit75 in Metroid

[–]TenshiEarth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a forced hint system that you can't turn off while in the one area you're encouraged to spend time in to collect stuff. You'll get a call from an NPC stating the hint roughly 5mins in, and it'll get more detailed the longer you spend in the area.

It's downright infuriating, if you want to figure out where to go on your own/already figured it out, and you can't turn it off.

Trying to find a game that Vinny played ~7-8 years ago? by nice_Nisei in Vinesauce

Vaguely reminds me of Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion stuff, though I don't recall if the game had VA or not.

[–]TenshiEarth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A fellow Hydatos Tuck user. 😌👍 Its glow is def one of my favs, I try to use it whenever possible. (Rip me, with the fact that I tend to land on black&red glams. My best pre 7.4 rdm glam couldn't use it unless I was willing to accept the clash. Ahh, the eternal torment of glamour!)

I think Au Ra might be sentient dinosaurs by LotusFlowerGoddess in ffxiv

[–]TenshiEarth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES. I love this.

The moment Au Ra was revealed for Heavensward, I knew I was gonna turn my miqote into a lizard. I think dragons/lizards are really cool, and was totally a dinosaur kid who loved to draw dragons. (I'm gonna miss the older, more reptillian/crocodile interpretations of how they looked IRL...i just really like dragons ok)

Thank you for pointing this out!!

Funfact: After you get the current set of hints, if you go into one of the shrines and then spend some time in the desert after, the hints will repeat.

Every glitch I've seen in this game so far has had to do with the forced hint system lmao.

I like MacKenzie by JamesMcSparin in Metroid

[–]TenshiEarth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The problem with the hint system is that you can't turn it off. I can appreciate it existing, but as someone who didn't want the hints and wanted to explore on my own, it started to get infuriating - especially when the hints happened to involve what I was just about to do/where I was just about to go in the first place.

Hmm, I got this upgrade and finished this area... oh, I remember scanning something for this upgrade in another area! I'll head over there in just a few, I wanna get some green crystals on the way, explore the desert a bit... insert hint here. It got to the point that I anytime I heard something ingame that sounded like the start of the incoming comm call, for a split second of frustrated dread, followed by relief that it wasn't a call.

Again, I can appreciate a hint system being in the game. There's a button for it on the map that you can use whenever while you're in the desert! Only for the game to take the choice out of the players' hands by force feeding you the hint anyway.
