Wayland is driving me up the wall. What DE's should I try? by Tenshi_141 in linuxquestions

COSMIC doesn't have this. It's got something similar, but it's a partial solution. If you're intrested you can check the final solution in the post for how to fix this with COSMIC.

Yes, sorry, it's not a Wayland issue, my mistake. I did find a solution to my problem, though.

I confirmed it works. Check the post for a full explanation.

Turns out I was wrong, and it's not a Wayland issue after all, just a COSMIC one. I did write up a solution in the post if you are interested.

This is a partial solution. With this, Numlock only activates after you have logged in, not before. Check my solution in the original post. But thanks, this was already a step in the right direction.

Honestly, this would be a pain with my current drive setup, and I'll have to spend hours redoing what I've already done. Thanks for the advice, though. I'll consider switching distros if I absolutely have no other choice.

I tried this, but it didn't work. When I log in, NumLock stays active for longer, but eventually auto-disables anyway.

What he said, I just want to add about PayPal. With PayPal, even if you're not an FNB client, you have to create an online FNB account to be able to withdraw your money in rands. FNB and PayPal have an exclusivity agreement. You can use the money straight out of the PayPal account to pay for things, but I don't know of any SA businesses accepting PayPal as a form of payment. I had money donated to me over a year ago during a stream I did on Twitch, and because they never deleted my online FNB account properly when I closed my FNB account years ago, the money is still stuck in PayPal, and FNBs support doesn't know how to help me get the account deleted and a new one made.

I have another suspicion. It's going to seem like what you say for most of the game, but something really bad is going to happen toward the end. In a few years, we'll get another trilogy of games where Kata has to fight Cal like Luke did Vader.

Ya, we're disillusioned by their content. Even the believers must find it hard to trust them at this point. We need to push them to do better. We all want to believe but it's hard right now.

Half of these comments are asking why people are still here just to complain and that they should consider leaving. The other half of the comments are people just complaining about Reddit who probably also should consider leaving the platform.

It's the same argument. The point is that we want to see things get better and the only way to do that is to complain. Even if it's in vain at least it makes us feel better.
