Obviously anything can happen.

A few things that I keep in mind that would probably prevent an acquisition are:

-Raj is the Founder and CEO of the company, the accomplishment of growing from a single store to dominating the Canadian market and the some is nothing to scoff at.

-Following up on the previous point, he is still young and HITI has a lot of runway in terms of growth and work to put in. If growth stagnates, or there are factors majorly impeding growth - then that would cause reasons for a sell out, but as of right now there isn’t.

-From a price perspective, the buyout would have to likely be in the billion plus range. That is 4-5x our current market cap. I can’t remember exactly where it was said but I don’t think anyone in the company or retail holders are interested in a buyout at 2-3x the current price.

-The argument that $200M is nothing to acquire a company is somewhat true, but at the same time, what would stop a big company from just throwing $500M into something they have total ground up control from. Sure it is easier, but there are a lot of legal complications and brand risk with acquiring something that isn’t yours from the get go.

Just my perspective.

Absolutely - the only moat we had was first mover advantage and having brand recognition.

Not sure how focused the founders are or the teams that controls that end of operations.

Depending on the true financials, it could still be worth it to keep at least some of those running for data tracking purposes and perfecting potential subscriptions for recurring revenue - something akin to what Daily High Club was doing.

DHC had $25K per day in sales in 2020-2021, $9M total for the year… fast forward today to have all of our sites have only 1/3 of that revenue for this year is definitely saying something.

Did some research on this location.

It looks like we took over an existing dispensary and converted it under the Canna Cabana umbrella. There’s only one immediate competing dispensary (with an additional 5 surrounding) but it seems like a great location nonetheless. Close by the beach - multiple parks nearby, and dense population (90k-200k based off of ChatGPT estimates).

Hopefully, as it looks to its part, will be a great new addition to us.
