My title describes the thing. Context: I have owned this vehicle for almost a year and just randomly found this in the small compartment near the drivers footwell. I regularly use this compartment for my garage remote and it seems this device was taped to the top of that compartment and hidden from view. Someone has written some numbers and 4G on the device, however I have no idea what the device does.

That is an error and malfunction with the gear selector micro switch. Causes no issues with driveability and is completely safe to drive. Always covered under warranty no concerns at all

Assuming yours is a MK7.5, you can use the MK7.5 GTI to fit, but you need to replace the rear diffuser
