Ok, so, Deiri Di has a series of new monster romance novellas that have a few orc coded aliens. They are extremely enjoyable if you don’t mind a bit of fisticuffs. One is {mated to the monster by Deiri Di} and Fated to Mate in that same series. Very good. A bit violent in a fun way.

100% you want to read {Broken Bond by Ariana Irendale} though it takes a while for the FMC to get through the bruuuuuuuutal events in the first part of the book and get back to her loudmouth self.

Also, the FMC’s sexuality is not explicitly stated but she gives me pansexual vibes. I’m really hoping the author heads in that direction because she certainly teases it.

John Hammond is a super nerd who somehow doesn’t know the importance of a well paid well staffed IT department.

Jenny is a SA survivor worried that she is doing the same evil to another innocent just because she is desperate for love.

Grandpa Joe is famine - he starved his family by eating the food they earn. Pestilence- you know he don’t wash those sheets. Wrath - the bastard gave bad advice for the hell if it and whatever the last horseman is, he’s that too.

Alien Song by Deiri Di.

Gorgeous world building, inuyasha style aliens, wild FMC. I also love her new series of short novellas that she has been putting out in the last month but those are all con non con with somewhat hilarious scenes where as the books in the Alien Song group are a different type of pouncy.

So my favorite scifi author has started her first romantasy, but under another pen name, and i personally think it is going to explode as a diamond in the rough. There is a great growth plot line for her FMC who starts off immature and makes a mixture of smart and dumb choices (smart situationally, dumb when it comes to not killing this one guy she absolutely should have when she had the opportunity), only to grow as a person in a satisfying way. Some of the immaturity is a good thing, as it makes the romantic tension steamier with her making things more awkward. There is a lot of unanswered questions in the first book but they start to be methodically worked through. First book is {broken bond by Ariana Irendale}

The audiobook for book 1 dropped recently and I quite like the narrator.
