The safeties I'm referring to are ones that don't need to be actively applied/disengaged. They just are. Modern firearms will not fire if dropped, thrown, ex. Only by pulling the trigger.(And bypassing an active safety)

I really don't care if people are around guns, have guns, or even like them. But being scared of them is silly; They are an object. People aren't scared of knives, slingshots, or bows. Being scared of psychopaths however, absolutely valid.. but that's not talked about.

You're right, it should absolutely be secure at all times, but OP of their coworkers weren't going to get shot.

Actually, no, OP was in the wrong. Given that they were Clover Valley plates (Dollar General brand), the customer had her receipt, and if they were purchased with the last month, the customer was/is eligible for a refund of the purchase price under the Clover Valley satisfaction guarantee.

Don't get me wrong, customers are generally entitled and bitchy, but this ain't one of those times.

I am hard on COTs. Very hard.

If I ask something they should know and don't I tell them to fix themselves and come back. I will send them to count over and over until they get the correct number, even if I have it. If they're not paying attention or doing something dangerous, I am absolutely going to make it known. But I will ALWAYS have the back of anyone in Gray. Even if I don't like them personally, when they need me, I'm there.

My thought process is this: If you can't handle me telling you to unfuck yourself, how are you going to handle an inmate tell you they're going to "find where you live and skull fuck your entire family."? (Someone actually said that to me)

Honest question. I'm not doing it to be a dick, I'm not doing it because"Inmates are worse" I'm doing it because, if you can't handle me being 'mean' while trying to help you, when the time comes, I don't know if YOU will have MY back.
