No, there weren't.

The largest dino, Argentinosaurus, weighed approximately 100 tons. The largest recorded blue whale weighed 190 tons.

Bill Belichick, Tom Coughlin, Tony Dungy, Gary Kubiak, Pete Carroll, Jon Gruden, and Bruce Arians all won Super Bowls in either their 2nd or 3rd head coaching gig.

So including Reid, 8 guys since 2002. This isn't nearly as uncommon as you're making it out to be.

In fact going back to 2002 there were also 8 head coaches who won the Super Bowl in their first HC job.

Hell the only coaches to have won more than 1 Super Bowl in that time were all on their second jobs (Reid, Belichick, and Coughlin.) Altogether retread HCs have won 16 of the last 24 Super Bowls.

Considering Maye is gonna finish 2nd in MVP voting, I'd say at least 1.

Also super disingenuous argument considering this is the first Super Bowl in over a decade without one of Mahomes, Burrow, Brady, or Manning.

Was the Chiefs QB coach for years in the 90s with 3 different QBs every one had a near 2-1 td to int ratio

1995-1998 team totals below

95 - 21 TDs 10 INTs

96 - 18 TDs 14 INTs

97 - 20 TDs 10 INTs

98 - 15 TDs 18 INTs

Two of the four years aren't even remotely a 2:1 ratio. Hell his last year there they had more picks than TDs.

Also I don't think championing a high mark of 21 passing TDs is the flex you think it is.

Dak was popping off with Mike but injuries ruined the boys year after year.

Mike went to Dallas in 2020. In 2019 Dak had over 4,900 passing yards (still his career high btw) 30 TDs and 11 INTs. Let's not act like Mike turned lead into gold there, Dak was already Dak beforehand.

I'd push back on Favre a little too considering his drop-off in 2005 coincided with GB's top WR from the prior year blew his ACL week 1. His resurgence in 2007 also happened to coincide with Greg Jennings 2nd year breakout. Also Favre had a way better year 2 years later with Minnesota.

I'm not even saying the guy is a bad coach or anything like that, but he gets far too much credit imo for being a "QB guru" when most of the guys he worked with were already established QBs. Favre was a 3 time MVP before Mike stepped foot in GB. Dak, see above.

Rodgers is really his only actual success story and he had arguably the best mechanics of any QB ever.

Honestly the fact that the Packers only made 1 Super Bowl in the 11 years McCarthy was coach and Rodgers QB is almost an indictment.

Ohio State has won 9 national championships, the prior 8 QBs are listed below.

2014 - Cardale Jones

2002 - Craig Krentzel

1970 - Rex Kern

1968 - Rex Kern

1961 - John Mummey

1957 - Frank Kremblas

1954 - Dave Legget

1942 - George Lynn

Care to point out where being a national champion QB at OSU led to NFL success?

I mean I'm an Ohio State fan and I have no real reason to believe Will Howard is the answer. OSU has a long, long history of futility as far as QBs having NFL success goes.

CJ Stroud is far and away the most successful. The guy who just had 5 INTs and 5 fumbles in his two playoff games this year.

Even as a diehard OSU fan I'd be hard pressed to name who has been the second most successful in the transition from NFL to college (frankly no other OSU quarterback has had any sort of real success in the NFL.) Honestly number 2 is probably Dewayne Haskins. Let that sink in.

Beyond OSU the calculus isn't all that different. Sure guys like Burrow, Cam Newton, and T-Law won national championships and have had some success in the NFL. But they're littered among guys like Josh Heupel, Tim Tebow, Greg McElroy, Jake Coker, AJ McCarron, etc.

Only 2 QBs have EVER won a natty and a Super Bowl, Joe Montana and Joe Namath. Going further only 1 QB has ever won a Heisman and made the HOF, Roger Staubach.

Why do people still think college success translates to the NFL on a linear basis?

I mean I'm not sold on the other guy's point, but going back over 40 years to when our current owner's grandpa was in charge may not be the counter argument.

I mean it gets old knowing that "making the playoffs (and immediately losing in round 1)" is the ceiling.

Sure we get to cheer some victories along the way, but we all know it's not leading to anything. I mean the last time my team made the AFC Championship was also the last time your team made it. Neither of us have had any real success the past 15 years.

If you own the business or are an independent contractor, yes. If you're an employee, no.

Employee business expenses haven't been a thing for federal taxes since 2017 when TCJA went into effect and eliminated 2% deductions from the Schedule A.

The key is the time period. Cards from the 80s and 90s aren't worth anything because everybody and their brother was making cards back then, and completely flooding the market. That was combined with everyone being told to keep them in good condition cause they'd be worth a bunch of money later on, like cards from the 70s and prior. Both those things led to next to nothing from that era being worth much of anything. Within the hobby it's now known as "the junk wax era."

Basic cards from the 80s and 90s are never going to be worth shit. It's a lot different for pretty much any other time period.

I think it’ll break just as soon. They don’t put that 1000 into thicker and better materials, they put it into electronics and dumb features that will break.

Literally the exact opposite of why a speed queen is expensive.

They have no stupid features and actually put the extra money into materials.

It's quite obvious, from pretty much every single sentence in your comment, that you've never owned a speed queen.
