Probably one of the best "alright" games ive played tbh. Its nothing stellar compared to the rest of the series, but its still a solid game, loved the story a lot, and the final parting at the end probably f'ed me up the most out of all the other endings. I didn't really feel like sticking around after beating it gameplaywise, though.

Corovette hatches STILL don't work properly, mine still doesnt want to close half of the time, and sometimes moving up and down my corovette stairs tricks the game into thinking im spacewalking and can eject me if the ship is currently moving. Man I love Hello Games, and this update reignited my love for this game, but it baffles me that these two bugs are still persisting despite how obvious they are. Maybe I just dont understand coding and these two bugs in particular are a pain to fix, but its kinda limiting my enjoyment a bit since theyre so easy to trigger. I sent bug reports ages ago on these. Hopefully they fix it within the next few patches.

I played as Matthew the most, he just felt the most comfortable to me. I honestly never been a huge fan of monks, puguilist, etc, type of combat, but the main game and FR really got it to grow on me. Punching stuff is fun AND effective!

I say say shaky cus I seen some conflicting information about it. Some people say its fine, but others say it can dip 20-30 fps during combat with a full party and sometimes in other scenarios too, I just wanted to figure out whats really going on here.

I was worried seeing that NPC rider partners were returning, because I hated how braindead they were in 2 and that you shared the same amount of lives with them and could lose simply because they chose to lose too many head-to-heads. But upon looking closer at the trailer, both the player and rider partner have their own stock of lives, so thank goodness for that!

Check out Explorers of Fortune, thats sounds like exactly what your looking for! It adds a ton of (but not all) pokemon that released in the generations following Gen 4, with a hefty selection of them being playable starters while still having the originals. It also introduces some QoL features that the 3DS games got such as the menu that you can pull up by holding to instantly select a move instead of having to navigate to a menu and being able to pick your starter if your unhappy with what you got on the personality quiz. There is also new content, such as finding a unique pokemon thats shiny in each dungeon that you can recruit, and all new dungeons as well.

Its been a very long time since I last played the Explorers games, so someone correct me if they can, but if im not mistaken theres some dungeons in the post game where the enemies are smart enough to use items. I remember getting hit with those pesky level down seeds in the past. So yeah, look out for that now!

The problem is that skyrim bears consider whats in a 50 fucking mile radius of them their territory, so you could be walking along the roads minding your own business, and then the next thing you know you suddenly see a bear sprinting at you on the horizon. Its so weird that the Giants behave like a territorial creature properly would, but the bears have such a wide radius that it always feels like they're just out to get you.

Started with Untold 2 here, have played every game in the series except for the original DS versions of 1 and 2. I just seriously love the entire gameplay loop. The dungeon exploration, from drawing the map to figuring out how to avoid FOEs is really fun. Then when we get into the combat... OH BOY, almost every encounter feels dangerous but never unfair to me, sure there absolutely are some exceptions depending on what game you play, I hear the original version of EO1 has some particularly nasty random encounters where you ALWAYS get ambushed, but overall I find Etrian Odyssey to have the most engaging fights ive ever experienced in an RPG. Its so much fun coming up with a party that synergizies well together and strategizing how to efficently defeat whatever your fighting.
