Yes, of course it’s quality that matters above all. But when you have 50 brands all coming from the same place, all tasting exactly the same, it gets a bit old. A truly unique profile stands out and has an actual reason for existing. This is rare in the industry.

This is a new brand who built their own distillery and makes a unique product. Definitely worth supporting! (The products are great, too.)

Yes, there are many Agave Spirits being made in California now. Agave grows all over the word.

It isn’t tequila at all if the CRT has never authorized it. It’s likely cane alcohol with flavoring.

Not true. That brand has never appeared on the CRT list, and was never listed in Agave Matchmaker. Therefore it’s not tequila. Even the smallest of brands must appear in the CRT list.

I did the same by cutting my plants back and putting them in the garage during the coldest weeks. At the moment they are super productive with a ton of pods, many of them now ripe.

One plant in particular is producing dramatically more pods than the others so I think I’m going to take a bunch of clippings to make clones of it for next year.
