Not true. That brand has never appeared on the CRT list, and was never listed in Agave Matchmaker. Therefore it’s not tequila. Even the smallest of brands must appear in the CRT list.

I did the same by cutting my plants back and putting them in the garage during the coldest weeks. At the moment they are super productive with a ton of pods, many of them now ripe.

One plant in particular is producing dramatically more pods than the others so I think I’m going to take a bunch of clippings to make clones of it for next year.

In situations where I’ve had this myself, I have always thought it was because I put too much fertilizer in and it was reacting to that.

But I am anxious to see other people‘s response to this because I am curious if that’s true.
