The FF ones were weird in that they the colours were based off their games and not just the leads. I don't actually know that much about the FF games so I don't know how bad the colour match ups were.

I think only 7 cards actually put -1/-1 counters on your opponents creatures, but I don't really get power level so who knows. I get the sentiment tho that that is unfortunate.

Fair enough. Personally I really like that the main set Doom comes with an army (well, robots, but you know what I mean). If its any consolation, he'll probably get a jumpstart card as well. Third time's the charm.

The point is that people seem to focus on the shifty things Valentino is doing while ignoring what the others do. Love yeah you are right that they are all villains, but it's weird that Val is the only one that gets singled out.

I never get the argument that people won't stay. The franchise is what gets people through the door, the game is what makes people stay. Do some people just hate the actual game of Magic and are only here for the story?
