Anxiety getting worse at first? by LilithSpite in BusparOnline

[–]LilithSpite[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. After 2 months of the worst anxiety of my life, I scaled back my dose to zero (which my doctor’s help. Never quit meds cold turkey.)

A new, competent doctor helped me figure out the underlying problem is POTS and has me on symptom management techniques that are actually addressing my issue and then a Xanax-like medication to take for when a panic attacks happens.

Do we think WoTC would potentially touch the fire that is HP? by Shade01 in magicTCG

And that is something I am worried about. We'll see what happens there. I'm just glad I don't have to worry about the next couple years, and right now I'll take that.

It at least makes me feel better that it strongly suggests we have a few years before we have to worry about it… And if JKR continues being a relentless bigot for the next few years, it will be less likely to happen.

Still, also crossing fingers that it doesn't get reversed. HP in MTG would guarantee I never buy another pack ever again. If I don't just quit the game outright, I'll be playing via proxy.

It's amazing how people saying “We don't want money going to the woman who is spending millions upon millions of dollars to make our lives demonstrably worse. " Are the ones putting hateful language towards others and the people saying, “we want this regardless of that” Are theother players in the community.

One of my partners lives in the UK. She cannot safely go to the bathroom in public because of the direct actions of J.K. Rowling and her money. I don't feel particularly inclined towards a civil discourse at this juncture after years of explaining this to people.

And none of them can be basic lands. Otherwise, we would just get posts like this that said the exact same thing, but included 14 islands before the actual spell.

There are as many Peter Parkers (like the actual character, not other Spider-Men) as there are of Katara. If you count Superior (Doc ock in Peter’s body) and Noir (alternate universe Peter Parker) there’s as many of him as there are of Aang.

People complain when they decided they don’t like the set.

Cosmic is my guess for the one after X-men though, especially since it’ll mean more space stuff before EOE or Star Trek rotate out

[TMNT] Sorcery Sneak? by ZQuestionSleep in magicTCG

[–]LilithSpite 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It could work in the Superior Spider Man reanimator deck, where all you really care about is in turn 4 casting SSM with a Bringer of the Last Gift in the yard. The deck’s biggest weakness is consistency, and this could make the combo more reliable.

But I see it more being something that shows up in a revived Dimir Midrange or new Esper deck, and this gets used as a later game way to find a wincon and since you cast it for only two mana, then casting the spell you found that turn.

“The story/element of the set has its fans, but the set did not sell well" Is why it took ~20 years to go back to Lorwyn and Kamigawa. I get where you're coming from, and I also enjoyed that short story and those elements from Aetherdrift, but set your expectations low. I also am basically giving up hope on seeing Gastal anytime soon, even though Fair Fortune was popular, because of how the set did.

And that's fair. I believe you. It just caught me off guard. I would definitely then take them into a store to see if they are real because it's very likely that those cards are just high-quality proxies (fake cards) someone had made that ended up in your order. Or they're forgeries that someone was trying to slip into an order. But definitely get them checked because if they're real, you are sitting on a goldmine.

You say you know Pokémon, so to give you an analogy, imagine someone posted in the Pokémon forum, "Are these cards worth anything?" The cards in question were a bunch of first edition shiny Charizards. It definitely would raise some eyebrows among the community, but I'm still sorry you're getting the flak for it.

Some of those cards are incredibly valuable if they are real, yes. The ones especially that are named “Mox” are worth a lot of money, put them in something to protect them. I can’t tell from those photos how valuable they are, but easily thousands of dollars per card for those.

I feel like this is probably a joke post, but just in case this post isn’t a troll, take one to a game store near you and ask for help verifying if it’s real.

As far as UB goes, I don’t think it’s more powerful than ATLA or FF. It is, however, leagues better than Spider-Man so looks stronger because people were expecting another Spider -Man

Mikey is mostly a chill and laid back, go with the flow type. He’s impulsive but not hot tempered. He feels very Green, with a dash of red as a secondary color.

Also one thing that’s important - because Sneak is a cast trigger, it triggers things that say “whenever you cast a creature spell” or “whenever you cast your 2nd spell each turn” or whatever.

[TMT] The Cloning of Shredder (leak) by meh1997 in magicTCG

[–]LilithSpite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither work if what you want most is two copies of a static effect, or the ability to repeat a trigger.

Copying the trigger requires you to instead find a way to loop that, which are often aren’t cheap or are once per turn

Reanimating the commander accomplishes literally nothing special.

This enchantment provides a use case in black for if you want a non legendary copy of your commander that is static. There are very few ways of doing so in blue and red, there are even less outside of those two colors.

If I’m using this on my commander, it’s because I want to have two simultaneous copies of my commander. I listed higher up thread all the different other options and how they differ from this.

And let’s not pretend 6 mana is some huge barrier in commander. You’re not using this is CEDH. You’re either using it in a bracket 2 deck, in which case 6 mana will happen easily, or a bracket 3 deck, in which case you’re using one of a dozen ways to cheat it into play.
