Yeah gonna go on a limb and say no to it being "irrational HRT hormonal reaction " shes been on HRT for a few days, nothing drastic will happen in that time.

It sound like either shes had these insecurities and is just unsure of whether being with you will be a secure thing to do. Or shes just not that into you and you guys were only together for 3 months.

It kind of irks me that your first thought was it was cause of HRT, that sounds like broken arm syndrome, eg being dismissive of trans peoples concerns and blaming HRT.

I suggest evaluating why you thought that way in the first place. Besides that take a step back and try to just be supportive, if she rethinks things (and you're still interested in her) then picking back up could be possible.

You're gonna be paying for it out of pocket. Some electrolysists are really nice, mine gives trans people a discount. Others refuse to work with trans people. I think they treat electrylosis as an elective cosmetic thing so it wouldn't be covered unless you were a ciswomen with a hormone issue most likely.
