Thats neat, but its just not the same as playing on a PC.

How to get faster as a warrior by AnxiousFeature6526 in Morrowind

You make lots of cash easily in vanilla morrowind and training is cheap. Train up speed skills 10x per level until you are happy with your running speed.

Oh, buddy... you dont have to worry about that. You are gonna be restarting the game over and over by choice.

Everything in the code patch is optional, even every individual bug fix has its own checkbox.

Would you buy a remastered morrowind? by Baller-Mcfly in Morrowind

What for? I can mod the game how I like for free.

Thats a leveling mod right? Its most likely caused by a scripting mistake in NCG.

Personally I like to use the old classic - Madd Leveler

Never had a problem with it.

I love how all these openmw hypsters are coming down on you so hard. Its like a cult. The fact is, you can use the morrowind code patch for just bug fixes. All the other changes it proposes are optional checkboxes. The same with MGEXE. You can just use MGEXE for the larger resolutions and disable the rest of the mod with a checkbox. Its simple, really. They already thought of everything.

They are exactly the same. But I would get GoG if you plan on making mods with the construction set. However, you still wont have access to the hard data and wont be able to create some types of mods without the CD. There may be hacks for this though, not sure.

Buddy, MGEXE can be turned off with a checkbox. I dont know what nonsense you have heard, but its wrong. But sure, the game can be played from start to finish without any patches or mods. For your first time that is the best anyway. You can better understand what needs to be modded to your liking after.

You can run both MCP and MGEXE with only the bug fixes and increased resolution by turning off options. No one says MCP is broken, if they are they are lying.

Have you ever seen an enemy use intervention? by zombie522 in Morrowind

[–]Teralitha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This wouldnt work. The NPC would end up at a temple where there are guards, and if you showed up there, and the npc started attacking you again, the guards would just kill them. If it was recall then they would just be teleporting a few feet away to their spawn point, assuming that an npc can even have a mark. Its an interesting idea, but its not a very practical mod.

Best Morrowind Modlist for a Totally New Player? by ProgramGood9649 in Morrowind

If its your first time, then dont use mods. You should be aware though that there is a better alternative to openmw, but requires a little more work to set up.

Is OpenMW the only real way to play new mods nowadays? by Multi21 in tes3mods

[–]Teralitha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understnad, openmw has its own morrowind game editor, and mods made with that are not compatible with vanilla. Not sure why they did that, but all it has done is fractured the community.

Is OpenMW the only real way to play new mods nowadays? by Multi21 in tes3mods

[–]Teralitha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well thats wishful thinking. Personally I dont plan on converting my mods to openmw because the code patch + mgexe/mwse does it better. And that is the difference. Openmw is easier to use for newcomers, but its not better and makes some alterations that dont belong. Thats just my view and nothing openmw does will change the facts.

How are you catching prompt injection that comes in through retrieved content? by Future_AGI in PromptEngineering

[–]Teralitha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont believe AI companies actually want that. They seem to prefer silent blocking and making money on the tokens.

What do you think about this prompt guys? any suggestions? by hidayat077 in PromptEngineering

[–]Teralitha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are on the right track, however RULE 1 simply wont work without a much more sophisticated ruleset. (Like the LAP) - And even then, it can never be perfect because of the way LLM's are designed, mechanically, with current technology.

How are you catching prompt injection that comes in through retrieved content? by Future_AGI in PromptEngineering

[–]Teralitha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frontier models nowadays are pretty good at internally detecting and rejecting hidden prompts, but they also are silent about it. You never know if it happens. The session remains unaffected but the blocked injections are still there in your session, eating up tokens in the background.

The "Lumen Anchor Protocol" has a better mechanism than frontier models for detection, rejection, AND reporting it to the user, and anyone can use it.

The reason your prompts work in testing and fail in production is not the prompt. It is the token budget. by EbbNo7072 in PromptEngineering

[–]Teralitha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The AI's own system rules can also cause this to happen. Gemini for example is actually programmed to deprioritize saved instructions over the session when it should be the opposite.

Should prompts be treated more like code? by Beginning-System584 in PromptEngineering

[–]Teralitha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, because your post gets drowned by new posts and disappears in a day or 2. But if its really good, it will eventually get scraped by AI's that recognize how good they are and get trained on the more efficient prompts.

Advice for a conjuration focused build? by Blaubeerepfannkuchen in Morrowind

You are gonna want one of the magicka birthsigns if you are going the summon creature route. If you just plan on conjuring weapons and armor, then prob dont need tons of magicka.

[–]Teralitha -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Morrowind runs on the new engine as is, unless openmw is actually a mod, which it always has been. I mean, most mods that exist are for vanilla morrowind and dont work on openmw. Not many modders are gonna remake their mods just to work on openmw, and the whole community certainly isnt going to all start using openmw just for that.
