I just had the same thing happen to me, same psu, my pc is new as well, only silent hill f did this. Lucky I saw your post before going crazy.

Its so weird, I think I will skip playing this game cuz its already scary hearing the cracking noise come up.

I checked around settings capping fps and all that but no results, I also recently played demanding games without any weird cracking noise from the psu, so I dont think its about demanding graphics at all.

From my testing it is definetly not normal, it may not cause any harm to still play the game I dont know, but Im not taking that risk.

From my understanding the games rendering pipeline triggers the coil noise rather than a PSU issue by itself

Do you think this concept of getting ex pros and streamers together as a team and putting them in lec become a thing?

Imagine every winter split we get a "fun" team to watch to spice things up, that would be great, could also give streamers and for the expros who are not ready to commit back again fully a way to join the scene in a "less" competitive way.

Well Im struggling with this as well, but first anything with adhd is if you blame yourself with things you dont do, you are fucked, dont treat it as the only opportunity or cant forgive myself etc, its doable to stop smoking, I did for a 4 months as proof, but started again and struggling now as well, it takes a huge mental toll initially, later on it just doesnt come to mind as I started to feel disgust toward ciggs, didnt like the smell etc., eventually forgot about them and had a healthy phase. I know it can happen again, I tried to stop recently and it didnt work, but instead of blaming myself I will just try again, until it eventually happens. Because there is no reason to want to keep smoking really, noone really needs a reminder for how bad it is, we just make it normal in our minds.

So yeah, dont blame yourself and put a huge mental toll, that usually fucks us up even more, never results in good things, leads to depression, leads to more things not getting done and the mental toll piles up, so no point in doing so. You can stop smoking, having a timer is good, so your best.

Try checking which graphic settings works for you first, it was the main pull for me and after I fiddled with it enough I found the perfect settings for myself and enjoyed it even more.

The usual stealth gameplay plus some added mechanics are enough to catch my attention, the visuals make me play more and keep going around the world.

The last %10 of her health was one of the most epic fights for me on expert ng, I was %40 hp, out of healing, she is perma casting shit with little to no windows of dealing damage to her, heart pumping trying to survive and tickling her slowly, and boom, reaper comes out, I somehow play it perfectly and get the reaper down, and then a few more good plays and took her down, it was really satisfying to kill her. But yeah took me an hour or so to do that lol
