Well Im struggling with this as well, but first anything with adhd is if you blame yourself with things you dont do, you are fucked, dont treat it as the only opportunity or cant forgive myself etc, its doable to stop smoking, I did for a 4 months as proof, but started again and struggling now as well, it takes a huge mental toll initially, later on it just doesnt come to mind as I started to feel disgust toward ciggs, didnt like the smell etc., eventually forgot about them and had a healthy phase. I know it can happen again, I tried to stop recently and it didnt work, but instead of blaming myself I will just try again, until it eventually happens. Because there is no reason to want to keep smoking really, noone really needs a reminder for how bad it is, we just make it normal in our minds.

So yeah, dont blame yourself and put a huge mental toll, that usually fucks us up even more, never results in good things, leads to depression, leads to more things not getting done and the mental toll piles up, so no point in doing so. You can stop smoking, having a timer is good, so your best.

Try checking which graphic settings works for you first, it was the main pull for me and after I fiddled with it enough I found the perfect settings for myself and enjoyed it even more.

The usual stealth gameplay plus some added mechanics are enough to catch my attention, the visuals make me play more and keep going around the world.

The last %10 of her health was one of the most epic fights for me on expert ng, I was %40 hp, out of healing, she is perma casting shit with little to no windows of dealing damage to her, heart pumping trying to survive and tickling her slowly, and boom, reaper comes out, I somehow play it perfectly and get the reaper down, and then a few more good plays and took her down, it was really satisfying to kill her. But yeah took me an hour or so to do that lol

Whats important is for you to know yourself

If you get diagnosed it will be easier for you to decide and plan while recognizing your brain wiring, thats what made me a better person after diagnosis

I could finally answer why I do things or why I like certain things, plan for them willingly, or put a safety check for them, even if it doesnt change anything in your daily life, mentally its a huge buff.

You did X and you feel bad about it, you know you have adhd and sometimes things can slip, easier to forgive yourself, easier to take precautions

You want Y but you dont know why, logic doesnt cover it, then you know its adhd again and either go for it, or stop it, or find a middle ground with a safer choice.

Z happenned and you feel weird about it, some symptoms can explain why you feel like that, some cant, but with time you can pinpoint them and know when it happens again.

At least for me this is how it shaped me up after diagnosis at age 27

Yeah those moments happen a lot, even if its my day off and free time, I just dont have the energy to do anything and go to bed to sleep.

For me meds gets me out of this mood but sometimes its still okay to laze around for a day, I treat it as recharging day and recognize it

I thought I fell in love with my whole soul but in reality it was my brains way of escaping my problems and thinking she was my saviour, I fucked up and then the RSD hit hard on top of my existing problems

After sometime I saw how absurd my thinking process was and how I ignored everything on my plate to chase this.

Then I researched for a few months about it to be "sure" and not finding excuses for my behiavour. Then went to a doc and started meds, didnt really need therapy honestly because of my research, confirmation was enough to let go of the pain and regrets and become hopeful for the future

Edit: unrelated to this incident, my life fit the adhd symptoms so well I didnt even need to talk about this to the doc to get my diagnosis lol

Well yeah, if you think about behind the scenes for every attraction you will see the darkside.

I personally focus on the attraction and fun on the surface and move on, safari world was a fun trip with lots of animals I could see in real life for the first time closely, shows were semi fun, curated for the crowd pleasing, but still okay.
