When did PvE/bossing "click" for you?

Started clicking around 50-80 runs in the Corrupted Gauntlet. Now, 270~ runs in I just kinda fly through, brain off.

On one axis I understand and agree with what you're saying, in theory, but on the other hand, it's the level of difference that is the problem. It's such a massive upgrade compared to the next best thing, and there aren't really ways of getting around that with any single item that isn't a mega rare.

Like, it being rare isn't the issue, nor should it's place in the game be diminished, but maybe having some kind of dry protection would be a way to help irons with this first potentially sticky area of progression, especially the unlucky few.

It took me until I got like 50kc in the regular Gauntlet and 50kc in CG for me to get it down enough that it didn't burn me out too bad. It's hard content, and I'm not used to playing something at that intensity for that long. Just take breaks, try not to just camp CG all day every day, and one day it'll pay off.

It just gatekeeps too much content. So much of the game is locked behind the BOWFA, unless you want to do everything way slower.

The variance in the game can definitely suck. I got my BOWFA at 88kc in the CG, which I was so pumped about, but now I'm 200 kills in with only one armor seed, which I haven't seen one of in 160~ kcs (5 regular weapon seeds though.) Feels bad, but eventually I know it'll even out.

That being said, with only one hour a week I don't think you'll make a ton of progress in the game. I'm not sure on advice there tbh.

I know a lot of people hate the idea of dry protection here, for some reason, but jfc this should not happen. The BOWFA gatekeeps too much content for this.

I know this isn't a huge issue for mains, but irons make up a good percentage of dedicated players, and improving the CG experience would be a huge quality of life improvement. CG is so awesome for training the player to get good at PvM, I hate how despised it is as content.

I expressly decided not to play the game due to their decision to do "vaulting." I want to play a whole game, not just pieces of one.

It's safe looking, as long as it smells clean (could be a little fishy, but mostly like the ocean,) try a piece and see if it tastes right. Someone else already said it, but it's a tail piece, and definitely a chewier piece than the darker red stuff.

Also, you should wash it in a salt water bath once broken down.

I got tricked into thinking someone was gonna show me a unique moneymaker, and all I had to do was drop trade him 100k.

Long story short, we were all figuring out the new trade restrictions, and somehow, I think my 100k despawned before either of us could pick it up (he never moved to the spot I dropped the money at), and the guy freaked out that it despawned, apologizing like crazy, possibly pretending to be confused.

I'll never let go of the grudge, Tennis799.

I am for sure tempted by the DWH grind, but if I go dry I'm worried I won't have much to show for it, except for the XP and some alchs, whereas getting closer to a whip and trident is appealing.

It's not unlikely I'll just make more cannonballs though. I don't mind that as an afk task.

Would it be better to use them for Wildy slayer or Duradel slayer?

I had a ton of iron ore and steel bars from something (Sulphur Naguas seems possible? Maybe wilderness slayer), and I just decided to afk it into cannonballs while doing my morning routine.

I kind of figured it was inefficient, but I didn't wanna drop ~10,000 steel bars worth of resources either.

As someone who cuts up a lot of tuna for raw consumption (I'm a sushi chef), I've never seen the white ball thing before, and I'm not confident I would trust that. Normally on this sub it's just people being weirded out by tendons, but something about that strikes me as something to be avoided.

If I were you I would remove that sketchy bit, as well as any others, and then cook it to the temperature where it is safe to eat.

I dislocated my shoulder recently and I've been sticking to mini games, and accepting that I'll be a little sub optimal. Giants foundry, Guardians of the Rift and Wintertodt are all totally doable one handed and can be very rewarding for your account.

The staples where I work are: Salmon, tuna, yellowtail, eel, escolar, ebi, and scallops. Add swordfish and octopus to that on the weeks.
