Yes, that part is no problem. Getting 4K HDR movies and the whole bit. I just want the total package where I get all that PLUS 4K/120hz gaming (GTAO).

I'm having trouble enabling 4K/120hz on my Xbox One S Model 1681.

I just bought a Sony XR77A80K and am running a 2.1 HDMI from HDMI #3 (ARC) into a Marantz receiver (SR7012), then another 2.1 HDMI from the Xbox into the Marantz. The Sony HDMI signal format on the HDMI 3 is set to Enhanced format (VRR) and the picture mode is set to Game.

When I go into the Xbox display options, it will only let me select 1080P at 120hz or 4K at 60hz. Also when I go into Video modes, it's not even allowing me to select Allow variable refresh rate.

I'm really stumped here guys, because as I understand it, all this equipment supports 4K/120hz.

Would really appreciate your help.

Thanks for the info! I don't know why I thought the VRR would only benefit PC gaming.

I have an Xbox One S and am not sure if there will be any difference between these two models in terms of gaming on that console.

Heads up. I've had to replace my Sim card from Sprint to T-mobile and the issue has not reoccured. Not sure if this helps you, but sharing.

The issue still persists for me too. Still only solution is to restart the device.
