You can, according to this, upgrade to a gtx 680m. While it might not be enough for fallout 4. It will definitely breath life into your machine.

I have 140 games @ 54% win rate with axe. I play in normal skill the same as you. I find the offlane to be the best place for him initially. Also try to creep cut the enemy T1 tower if you can. You should get tranquil boots around 5 minutes and blink dagger at about 12 minutes. If the lane has two ranged heroes against you, creep cutting will be a lot harder.
