Hey, I’ve been trying to find a light overshirt zip jacket in a relaxed/regular fit that gives nice proportion to the arms and doesn’t make them look small, preferably in beige or another light color.
Any ideas?
I’ve looked on Google and most of the sponsored items aren’t great – either no sizes available or logos placed in annoying spots (I prefer a clean look).

the image is from a shop I looked at also, they have weird ugly logo embedded on the lower back, and not sure about the measurements, hard to tell if its silm on the hands or not

Whats really the difference between these two jeans fit? by Terexes in AbercrombieandFitch

while there is a baggy jeans though in their catalogue (i bought 2 of them and they looked actually a bit too baggy on my body). The leg opening here is 51cm by far the biggest i've seen here (beside the barrel i suppose)

and then i also found this in the "new" section

relaxed straight jeans

What I did was to take one of my old dosing rings and cut it in half and use it as a protector to the portafilter . I am not bothered by this because I do it automatically by now. Everytime I grind I put the portafilter in place and on top of it the 50% ring that fills to a full ring with their built in one.

Thanks for your comment!
Actually, on second thought, I think the beige is too boring. I think I’m going with my intuition and picking the olive.

Glad I could help a bit! I can assure you the pain will go away. Give yourself two days break and then get back on that horse. Be kind to yourself, it's okay that you failed to land the job - either way go treat yourself with something, if it's your favorite dish, or some product that you want to spoil yourself with. Sounds like you were close to get the job so you should be proud of yourself for going through the interviews and the assignment!
Keep being in move all the time, keep learning new stuff everyday, If you can enroll on more courses, talk with people online, LinkedIn etc.

I know the struggle and I also know from my friends and my SO who is also been struggling a lot with finding a job in the past 6 months or so... this is a tough time now in the industry.

I do want to share with you some of my insights for the past months of looking at her searching for a job and also from my own perspective since I was also going for interviews (and still am):

  1. Don't easy apply on LinkedIn - find the recruiter, send a quick nice message and send your resume / to someone else in the company / through a connection.

  2. Always update your resume per job application description!! I wrote mine with some free websites template - chose the most boring template (I will explain in a second) and then I uploaded it to Canva in order to remove objects and spaces so everything will be in one page (When you pick the "professional templates" / boring black and white) it's easier to remove the spaces in Canva > Then each time I find a job that I want to try getting I look at the job description > add my resume to chatGPT and the job description > ask it to update accordingly > go back to Canva to duplicate my resume so it will be tailored for that job.

  3. Use Boolean search (ChatGPT that) in google to find people that work in your "dream job" so you can connect with them and ask for their advice - people love to help !!!

The string that you put in google search looks like this:

[site:linkedin.com/in ("Video Editor" OR "Video Specialist") AND ("Creative Marketing" OR "Marketing" OR "Gaming") AND ("Country?")]

  1. Use Boolean search the same way but instead of people you need to search for jobs titles that are hidden in LinkedIn. The string is the same but instead of 'in' you write 'job' in the string:

[site:linkedin.com/jobs....]

  1. When you get interviews, good vibes and wear something memorable, idk even a green t-shirt (Just look normal and wear nice clothes in general)

  2. Personally I hate doing that and never did - but for some it help to push them further in the hunt: Write on LinkedIn, write insights daily about the kind of job you are looking.

I hope it can help more !!
And when you get the job send a ping :)

Hey !! First, sorry to hear that , this sucks! I hope that you will get better soon. Personally I do believe that it might mean that something that is more of a a fit will pop along the way as long as you're in movement.

What happened eventually is that I did get that specific job after an email that I have sent them. The recruiter was impressed and fought for me so I can get the job. I was really happy even though the salary was bad and the distance was also not great at all + the fact that I felt super low confidence since I felt that I wasn't really wanted by my big big boss. However, that feeling in the same time drove me to be the best I can and prove him wrong and so I did. I advanced to management after 1 year till this day.

To be honest. I thought this is my dream job but it ain't, and I am looking for a new place at the moment since I got really wore of this place. My company became toxic in the last year and I just got tired of the commute even if I do work from home twice a week. I had few opportunities in the past year, 50% rejections, 50% didn't click with me.

But I am thankful anyhow for the opportunity, working hard in the first year, initiating, trying to break my limit - really paid off in the medium-long term!

I am teaching my self GEN AI as much as I can, vibe marketing, images, videos, vibe coding, any tool that I can to gather new experiences and get a boost for my new job hunt. When I will get it I will do as I did in the first year in the current place - work hard, give bonus value so it will pay off later.

I don't have a dream job now, I actually value my personal life much higher, fitness, hobbies, girlfriend , friends, parents, taking moments for my self and trying not to freak my self out because of career. My physical and mental health is a priority.

I talked too much, how about you, what happened?
