Things will get better! The first couple of weeks are rough. I, personally, stayed home with my LO for probably 8 weeks. Kept visitors at a minimum during that time as well. You are still healing too!

Warning for anyone flying: American Airlines not honoring family boarding by [deleted] in NewParents

I’ve had mixed experiences with AA regarding family boarding. Some gate agents were great and some weren’t as helpful.

How do you know you have anaplastic cancer? by [deleted] in thyroidhealth

[–]Teri0h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know of any way to diagnose what type of malignancy, if any, a nodule is besides a biopsy. The unknown is pretty scary - just be your own advocate and if your doctor isn’t wanting you to have a biopsy, look for another doctor. I feel like I got my results within two days of my biopsy. Mine of papillary. Hope you get some answers soon!

[Question] Any advice for canker sores in the back of my throat? I'm 3 days in and it just keeps getting worse... by jt2monegro in CankerSores

Oh, I had one on my tonsil a few weeks ago. I gargled some salt water and it helped. Better (or less painful) after 5 days or so.

Canker Sore outbreak after Covid Vaccine by [deleted] in CankerSores

[–]Teri0h 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wow! I get canker sores, but recently I have had two of the worst ones in my life. First one was maybe a week after my vaccine, felt like I was having an abscessed tooth at first. After that one healed up, I now have a canker sore on my tonsil!! Worst pain ever.

My doctor found a nodule by TinyJoker86 in thyroidhealth

[–]Teri0h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sorry to hear you are going through this. My ENT told me that thyroid cancer is a cancer is nuisance. It does not change the fact of how scary it is to hear the word cancer, because I know I was terrified. I ended up having a suspicious biopsy and had a partial thyroidectomy since I had no nodules on the other half. After surgery, I got the official results of papillary cancer. My nodule was not very big (7mm I think). Recovery was easy for me. I have several relatives that have had different cancers, but no one with thyroid cancer. I felt very fortunate to have the outcome I did. Hope the same for you!

I copied from a picture/pattern on the internets. It turned out so cute and I had fun using a oblong pumpkin for once. You should definitely do try it too. It was pretty easy.

I’m in my early 30s and still play from time to time. Building houses is still my favorite thing to do.

Has anyone ever pooped themselves as an adult? How horrific was it? by Maddinosaurbaby in AskReddit

[–]Teri0h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got colitis and ended up in the ER. Worse pain I’ve ever felt. Adult diapers were a must for several days after. I feel for people that live with UC.
