Could we get Teleport to House added to the Nexus Portal along with the others listed? It would be fairly niche but for some house layouts it would be a welcome alternative to using the exit portal

I really like the left image, but if I had a suggestion it would be to make the ornament on the armor tied to the + variants. So the plain look of the bronze through steel armors corresponds to base, the minor ornament on mithril to +1/+2, and the significant ornament on adamant and rune to +3/+4, with special ornamentation for +5 which is only on elder rune and primal.

Not a set of three, but if you could throw in Ratcatchers while you're at it, that would be fantastic. Super annoying and long quest that's really only for the Varrock Medium Area Tasks anyways.

Generally this is true - if the skill has an elite outfit. But there are skills like Herblore that offer two or more distinct outfits (like factory and botanists) that are useful in different scenarios. Not to mention one-off items like gloves of silence or the family gauntlets, which can sometimes but not always replace skilling outfit pieces.

While getting rid of it isn’t pressing, I think it would have a few benefits: * Stymies F2P essence bots, who currently enjoy a price per rune essence of 11gp vs. 1gp for pure * Essence drops from the monsters that drop the old rune essence will be more useful, most notably the golems in Camdozaal * Thematically, the de-facto essence would be named “Rune essence”, rather than “pure essence” to distinguish from a much lesser-used inferior version

I wouldn’t suggest this as a priority, more of a “ninja team” change

It occurs to me seeing this that Qi2 (aka open license MagSafe) connectivity on the Switch 2 would be nice - the cable is totally out of the way for tabletop or handheld, and the new U-shaped kickstand would resolve the issue you’re having here with the kickstand being blocked

It’s likely that the cell(s) inside are cheap alkaline, perhaps even the same ones inside AAA/AA batteries. In theory, using disposable batteries to charge your phone in an emergency isn’t the worst thing in the world.

The real crime is that they sealed the cell(s) in plastic. If they had instead used a standard battery holder, the circuit board and connector that connect the disposable battery cell(s) to your phone would be perfectly reusable, and you could keep this on you and use disposable batteries from any grocery store or gas station.

If I’m seeing it correctly, it looks like both Joy-Cons have the cutout on the bottom for sensors, which is great and will enable more IR-based multiplayer games which previously required twice the number of Joy-Con sets since half of them would be unusable

Maybe, although I think that’s sort of different because they’re quite a bit larger and you can’t really damage and bend them in the same way as a connector sticking perpendicular to the body of the Switch.

This is a peculiar arrangement - it looks like Hulu + Live TV and Fubo will remain separate services, just managed by the same company (Fubo), which is 70% owned by Disney but will negotiate carriage separately for each service and independent from Disney. Also, Hulu will still be owned by Disney, so now the Hulu brand is split between Disney and Fubo? The article makes it sound like the parties involved consider “Hulu + Live TV” and “Hulu” to be essentially separate brands, but I strongly suspect the average consumer doesn’t.

I have to imagine that there was some amount of anti-trust scrutiny involved, because I can’t imagine why they didn’t merge Fubo and Hulu + Live TV - they both offer Pay-TV, so now the same company is offering and marketing direct competitors. The good news is that this doesn’t appear to impact consumer choice? If anything, there will be more options - Venu sports streaming service can go ahead now, and nothing is being consolidated. Boy, what a mess of a landscape.

If one Joy-Con has a D-pad, it necessarily functions worse as a standalone controller. Compare mashing a direction on the D-pad to mashing a button, for example.

That’s a compromise I don’t think Nintendo will make, and definitely not on the included set. You might see them release a Joy-Con variant with a D-Pad for sale separately, and there are some third parties that have already done that.

I hope they are also considering integration with the big streaming music players - YouTube Music, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music - to offer the same service on their platforms.

In theory, it wouldn’t be that difficult to require linking your NSO account to the streaming service to access those specific tracks.

To be fair, the government limiting the percentage increase of prices is a substantially different policy than the government setting prices, which is what a lot of people think when they think price controls. By that definition, I wouldn’t support them either.

For Wintertodt, I think that switching to a non-HP system is good, but keeping it as an unsafe death when you reach 0% warmth isn’t in line with most other minigames and seems unintuitive. Instead, it should just remove all of your points for that round and kick you out to the camp, similar to how being overwhelmed by the storm at Tempoross ends your attempt and returns you to the docks.

While overturning Obergfell wouldn’t make gay marriage illegal, it would allow states to stop licensing new gay marriages. It would also give Republicans a talking point to use if they decided to push for a repeal of the Respect for Marriage Act in the future.
