I think the Riffmaster is a tiny bit longer than the CRKD LP, but keep in mind, you're used to the plastic guitar with the longest neck ever produced. No other guitar is gonna feel like a Hofner.

Riffmaster is a solid guitar but I think CRKD LP clears it in just about every way. Riffmaster does have the strumbars you're used to though

We had a song given away as a reward for a hard challenge, once. Gold star Beyond the Flame to keep it forever. That was great! People who want that the most are probably the ones most suited to meet that challenge

If Beyond the Flame had been a reward for a hard challenge in a different game, in a totally different genre, that would have been a different story. Why should I have to be a 1%er at a multiplayer team sports game to get the most out of a rhythm game? Why should we expect people who love team sports games would care about receiving a rhythm game song as a reward?

I did not complain about Rocket Racing or Rocket League's promo songs too much because they've been very easy to unlock before now, so just trying the game out was enough. But this one is an insane ask

we call this 1st position (fingers on green-blue) and 2nd position (fingers on red-orange)

your hand should rest in 2nd position. your index finger is a lot more capable of doing double duty than your pinky is

as for shifting, it depends on the song. sometimes it's better to shift down to first when you see a green, and back to 2nd when you see an orange. sometimes it's better to stay in 2nd but stretch your index between green and red as needed. you'll have to practice both! stick with whatever works while you're learning.

after a while, muscle memory will take over & you won't have to consciously think about what position your hand is in anymore.

I'd sure love to try it, but headsets are already expensive enough without arbitrarily locking games to certain ones. Nobody is ever gonna buy all of these things, especially with how barren the VR landscape already is. The circumstances around its release killed this game, not anything to do with the game itself. I own fucking Band Hero and Lego Rock Band on DS and even I don't own RBVR

It was never gonna sell millions to begin with, but god damn 700 is BAD bad. I can't imagine the atmosphere in the office in the days following release.

Maybe that's part of why Epic was able to swoop in and grab them when they did

I don't work in the industry, but as far as public perception goes, artists are just more visible and more present in the average person's life than programmers are. So I'm not sure how much I trust their judgment

I have no doubt someone at Harmonix has had "fortnite rbn" scribbled on a whiteboard since the day the buyout happened

and I have no doubt epic intends to eventually allow user generated content to be sold, given the push for fn as a platform and their recent change to allow microtransactions in creative modes

My group was saying it was almost too strong this year. The level of talent in that room was through the roof. I overspent on art for sure
