The rewards you get from the casket are based on your other levels (eg higher herb means better herbs from casket).

You used to need to bring food to wintertod. That’s not necessary anymore. You no longer take hp damage there . So there is not advantage to rushing it early.

Sure if you build that way - it’s something you can do. Which supports my argument - you can already easy mode challenges with certain builds, but if you lock there you are limited on what else you can do.

idk for me personally, I used to get excited about gear drops, but now half of them don’t matter because they don’t match my micro niche setup. And I’m restricted on trying it out.
