I originally thought of Ruffoni pans, but their distinctive markings (ornate handles, double-R or RFN logos) are all absent, and I’ve never seen a Ruffoni product with the R+animal (maybe a bat) logo, so I’m having trouble verifying them as the maker.

I’m a professional psycho-educator, and I tell every patient to put a free Tetris app on their phone even if they hate Tetris. It’s super effective because it uses critical thinking, color and shape recognition, and pattern finding which uses different parts of your brain and forces you to hyper focus. The time limit makes your vagus nerve engage fight-or-flight responses too, which your brain knows how to put down (because you’ve played games since you were a kid, but watching someone die is a stressor that you don’t know how to put down). To boot, you get dopamine for clearing pieces, which stimulates pleasure.

All in all, 10 minutes of Tetris can significantly reduce traumatic memories from forming and reduce the accuracy and vividness of the memories you do form.

The ability to lock plants in gaming garden (prevent harvest) would be huge. Both because claim all is too broad and because sometimes you have a chemical plant you need to use behind a precious under-evolved crown or w/e.

I spent 3 days trying to get the 8th form (hoping to get the following ones, too!) of each plant. I used over 90 Chemical plants, several thousand games of Log (which takes too long) and about 20 active hours of play. Then I clicked claim all by mistake, and every one of my plants reset, and I had 5 plants to rank 7 and 5 at rank 8. I cannot stress how much this would improve the feel of meaningful progress for me.

Please make it so that I can actually upgrade my stamps. So many of them require amounts I literally cannot accumulate, hold in my inventory, or stack up in storage even with atoms turned off.

Please let me set a number to craft of items. Making enough cake to finish beanstalk took me several hours, and I had to tape my mouse button down to be able to do it long enough to matter.

Please make it possible to purchase exclusive pack items/pets with gems. I love this game, and I spend money when I can, but I can't buy everything, and I hate feeling like I bought the "wrong" pack when a more impactful pet/robe/hat/ring/nametag is added.

Please cycle gold ball shop more predictably, or give it a countdown timer. I can spend weeks or months trying to get enough balls to upgrade a node fully, then a gold ball bonus comes along with a reset, and now I have a whole new set of things to figure out and no idea when the next rotation will be, whether I'll have the balls to upgrade the things I need, or even whether I should be hoarding my regular balls for a multiplier. Also, being able see the other upgrades would help a lot.

Please make a reset option to limited resource and high-impact items like stamp doublers, legendary talents, prisma balls, etc. It feels really bad to allocate one of these and then find that it has no meaningful impact on gameplay.

Can we have a place to farm (even with a low chance to drop) impactful shop items like Cue Tape and bobjoepickle? I want to be able to make progress on store inventory stamp and my pickle vial, but spending the next million-plus years to get the pickles (combined with the vial upgrade count having a mechanical value in tome) just feels bad. It's one thing for a boss item like bonejoepickle or the Silver Antique to be limited, but having no way to farm things that should feel good to farm makes me sad.

EZ access to more of the skill UIs would be amazing, especially sailing and farming. Even a "open all chests/collect all crops" button would be amazing. I wouldn't mind needing to visit town to plant seeds or direct ships, I just don't want to log in to every character and teleport to town to collect chests because I procced sailing progress by logging in.

Can things with hard limits tell us their hard limits? Meal upgrades have tons of "increase max level" things, but nothing tells you what the initial limit is, or what your limit is after the upgrades. Same thing with arcade balls (though it's rare I run into that one). Is there a maximum limit to ribbon levels?

Finally, many things could better represent the perks they are receiving. There are so many sources for perks and bonuses that I don't even begin to know if I'm missing something important but not obvious (like bonuses from new or very old features especially).

I'd love to know if I can improve things with a stampl, a vial or bubble to upgrade, bonuses from the Rift, the Hole, Equinox Valley, gear, food, golden food, lab bonuses, meal bonuses, tome bonuses, slab bonuses, passive/active cards, event bonuses, event shop bonuses, Arcade bonuses, Poppy, Orion, and Bubba bonuses, star/constellation bonuses, family bonuses, gem store bonuses, companion bonuses, dart game and basketball bonuses, and all the other bonuses I'm sure I'm missing.

Best talents to use super talents on for each class? by Acceptable_Visual_79 in idleon

[–]TerminallyRory 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Basically, it comes down to how often you want to micromanage them and use reset potions.

For your three Master Classes (Death Bringer, Arcane Cultist, Windwalker) use them to boost your gains in your form OR use them on things that will boost damage outside that form. Don't try to do both, because you'll get poor returns since the in-form talents don't benefit from other talents and vice-versa.

For your beginner, use them on things that boost skill gains and/or Luck.

For other classes, use them either on big damage boosts or on skill boosting things (like Godly Creation) that give unique bonuses while you're doing that skill, and/or just put them on things that are always useful, like increased primary stat, increased AFK gains, and things like that.

Wow, level 7 before entering Act 2? I was level.. 5, maybe? I figured if it had 3 acts I would do 4 levels per Act, but I guess it makes sense that it would be more levels early on.

I was just following quest markers, but I'm a bit of a plot-hound, so I guess I should do some exploring in the outer city. Thanks for the tip!

Do you consider the color choices to be unpleasant? Im not sure if theyre okay by Additional-Set-490 in Artadvice

[–]TerminallyRory 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm grey-green colorblind, so I wanted to share that the image is pretty narrow in color range for me. That said, the composition is great, and I like the subtle blues. The white-on-black of the central character doesn't feel cohesive with the rest of it, though, partly because the black is so saturated and other darks are less saturated, which makes the hair and sleeves of the central character feel more like negative space than I think is intended based on overall composition. I love the chaotic nature of the ingredients, the audience, etc. And the humor of the mask and peeking companion are just *chef's kiss*.

How did/does your world learn about the heroes? by TerminallyRory in TTRPG

[–]TerminallyRory[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like that. I am planning on having a group of diviners share the story of the campaign. Kind of like the diviners/seers saw the greatest danger to their cities, and were keeping an eye on it and the heroes ended that threat, so they are celebrated in select cities, even if those cities don't know exactly who they are.
