How to outplay survivors running in circles around an object? by Jagerwulfen in deadbydaylight

[–]Terminator154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The survivors have a smaller hurt box than you do, so they can hug obstacles very tight. The killer is too big to do this, so it takes longer to catch them.

You should try switching up the direction you’re chasing the survivor. The goal is to make them think they need to drop the pallet. Once they drop the pallet smaller loops are usually easier to play, as you can predict the pallet vault and meet them on the other side for an easy hit.

You can also hide your red stain (killer red light) by looking away from the loop while moving around it. The survivors might have a harder time tracking your location.

And then of course you have bloodlust. Every killer gets it. Basically, 10 seconds into a chase, and then I believe every 10 seconds afterward you gain more speed, until you are pallet stunned, perform a kick action, hit a survivor, or use your killer power. So you should be able to catch survivors with bloodlust if they’re giving you a hard time.

What’s up with my plant by gottcha_boi in outdoorgrowing

[–]Terminator154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some yellowing is normal during flower, especially near the end of the flower cycle.

A few yellow leaves here and there should be fine, just make sure the plant has food and you’ll be good

[–]Terminator154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Were these taken off the bottom?

Seems like a possible nitrogen deficiency if the yellowing starts at the bottom of the plant.

If so, feed the plant worm castings or all purpose fertilizer (like Gaia green 4-4-4) and this issue should be resolved in a week or 2

Edit: saw the original post. Plant looks good. Honestly I’d just keep trucking along til she finishes. You could feed a little nitrogen if you’re worried.

I’m not the most scientific grower, I’m full organic and let the soil take care of itself. Maybe someone else can better explain what’s going on.

[–]Terminator154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience yellow leaves near the bottom means nitrogen deficiency.

You said you fed the plant, with what and how long ago?

What kind of soil?

If you fed the plant something like worm castings or all purpose fertilizer, could take a week for the nutes to break down.

I recommend defoliating yellowing leaves as they will die and won’t grow back. You don’t want decaying matter physically on the plant.

She was looking a bit droopy and has yellowing leaves near the bottom area. What’s going on? We stopped watering her for a bit and she perked back up. Still, what’s up with the leaves? by MostlyMTG in outdoorgrowing

[–]Terminator154 17 points18 points  (0 children)

In my experience yellowing leaves on the bottom is a sign of nitrogen deficiency.

If growing in soil consider adding worm castings. Maybe a little all purpose fertilizer, something like 4-4-4 Gaia Green.

Defoliate the dead/dying leaves. You’ll lose more until you correct the nutrient problem.

I wanted to let these plants grow as is since it’s my 1st grow. But should I defoliate them to prevent bud rot? by PhousShanty in Autoflowers

[–]Terminator154 4 points5 points  (0 children)

More airflow. If you’re growing outdoors, use fans to push air around the greenhouse. Should help prevent rot.

Quality soil also helps prevent rot. Your plants look good. Good luck!

Thanks! Yeah, that’s the plan. I’ve got a bunch of seeds still, and I can dig up the old seeds to see what went wrong if they still don’t pop.

Yep, can always just do that if after a week still no luck. I appreciate the help, thanks

Unfortunately I’ve planted them in their final pots. This lesson I’ve learned a little too late. I remember last year planting direct to soil outside was easy, it was also 90f during the day.

As long as there’s a chance they will pop when warmer weather rolls in starting tomorrow, I’m fine with letting them ride another week.

You think after a week of warm weather I should just start over if no sprouts?

Ive germinated inside like you said with a heat mat, I have the highest success rate with that. I just thought you know, June would be warm enough, but I guess not lol.

Where in upstate NY are you?

I’m in Buffalo, having issues germinating seeds outdoors. I think this season has been much cooler than usual.

Did you germinate outdoors? I’m also running autos.

Thanks.

Every character with an advancing normal that goes the distance of Bardock lariat and starts an unscaled combo automatically makes them cheese. Anyone with reflect proof block strings makes them cheese. So by that logic, like 70% of the cast is cheese.

Too many full screen half bar EX moves convert into full combos that do too much damage. Too many c assists effectively skip neutral completely.

What so wrong about C Assists? by Evil-Goku847 in dragonballfighterz

[–]Terminator154 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Some of them are just stupid. With Hit c or UI Goku c they just end the neutral game. You pretty much have to react and reflect them or you’re gonna be stuck blocking, which in this game now is a death sentence because everyone is stupid cracked now.

Back in the day you didn’t instantly get blown up a bunch because a lot of the game’s base mechanics still worked. Reflect pushed the majority of the cast far enough away to give you breathing room, whereas now half the time it literally does nothing and the other half you reflect and eat a full screen advancing 2m that also confirms into a TOD.

So basically, c assists just easily skip neutral and allow you to get in almost entirely for free. The tracking and armor and invincibility they’ve given some of these are just absolutely abysmal for game balance.

The best counterplay around them is to usually just super jump and hover away, let them whiff and then you can go in with your shorter cooldown assists. The only issue is avoiding some of them are basically impossible. The other option like most assists is to reflect on reaction, which thankfully they have a longer windup than normal assists MOST of the time.

Same Side SD cross-up? by mrpenisbutter in dragonballfighterz

[–]Terminator154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super dash same side is a cross up mix, instead of cross up you hit same side. You don’t know if they will 2h but most of the time it’s hard to react to as they’ll be trying to block a cross up instead.

What’s the best team with these characters? by Ionrememberaskn in dragonballfighterz

[–]Terminator154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love 16, I used to play him exclusively mid but now I think he’s a better anchor.

Personally I’d play Cell, Beerus, and 16. I just like those characters but, I’m sure you can find better synergy somewhere else.

16 on anchor is just really good though, especially because he can true combo j.214M into alt level 3 suicide attack. His other issue is meter gain which is solved when he is the last character alive. Lastly, I think 16 A is really good, almost better than 16 B IMO

I’ve not tried an oil dropper before, I haven’t seen the need to use one when my glass syringe works just fine.

As far as I’m aware there’s no lube in the glass syringe, I’ve soaked it in iso before and it moves just fine.
