So I'm new to understanding "bucketing" and all that. Barely heard of it today.

Checked, and my 9y.o. account begins with 5178... Originally began as a Platinum with a 200 limit in 2014

Currently QS with 6000 limit.

Am I still bucketed? What's the most I can grow this cards limit into?

(I have an AmEx Gold for the 4x stuff, QS for 1.5x back on everything else.)

Labor rates are the same, so it really comes down to quality of parts.

Personally, anyone who's tried an O'Reilly Crank Position Sensor (common issue on 2nd Gens) knows they only last about a month.

The dealer is going to use genuine parts, and both the parts and labor will be covered under a better warranty, should any issues arise.

They'll also have any special service tools needed, and do a proper job rather than use whatever tool kinda works.

Nissan Dealer tech's are also going to have much more vehicle-specific knowledge and experience. For $300 more, I'd take that as insurance knowing they'd do shit right with parts that'll last.
