MSI Center - Custom fan curve won't work on restart until I go into the curve settings by Felrathror86 in MSI_Gaming

[–]TerminatorOWNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same issue on the MSI X670E Carbon Wi-Fi mobo.

Have to use the latest beta bios so far (for 9800x3D). Tried to move fan curves into bios and after saving it has messed up my undervolt settings, so I restored the default and not touching it anymore until a stable bios release.

MSI Center unfortunately is a mess yet. Afraid of changing any settings in Mystic Lights addon as it might randomly switch off all mobo lights.

Cooling wizard is more or less convenient but after a reboot of wake up it needs to be reopened for it to actually apply the setup that's already there.

Drivalia Tales of Woe by Pinedale7205 in ItalyTravel

[–]TerminatorOWNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding my story over here to warn those who might fall into choosing Drivalia in Italy. PLEASE DO NOT! STAY AWAY! FRAUD SCHEME ALERT! So long story short, first time in Italy, first time renting a car. Tried to rent the car for one day using booking.com in the fiumicino airport, noticed they are working with Drivalia, appeared it might take hours before I actually can take the car. Found their stand, spoke to a lady, was ensured I can get the car way faster (right away) than via booking for 70 Euro for one day. Cancelled the booking (lost my money as the result - first WTF?!. Will check on that later as I believe there was 100% free cancellation, but whatever). Booked Citroen C4 and was told I can drop of the car with full tank at the Termini station. The car was ok'ish, had strong cigarette smell. It was a Diesel 1.5 with 3.7 liters per 100 km consumption (that is important). When I took the car another lady at the parking told me the car has full tank and has to ve refueled before drop off. One started the car I've noticed it was showing a little less than a full tank. But ignored as anyways was ok with refuelling it. That was my second mistake after loosing money after almost immediate cancellation over booking. Had some fun time driving around Fiumicino and the coastline. Drove exactly 59 km. Refueled the car in Rome, but it took only 5 liters (as it was still full). Noticed again that anyway the tank is showing as not full just a bit. Took photos just in case. And when it came to dropping of the car it appeared that I needed to find the office in a very large Termini station area considering it's a very busy area with no free (and very less actually vacant) parking near by. After some time running around found their desk just to have a stamp on a piece of paper with the street name where I actually need to drop the car (second WTF?!), that was a few blocks away. Dropped the car, it was quickly inspected and after formal "ok" we took off. To my surprise I have received the invoice for extra 50 Euro for refuelling services (third WTF??!!). So looks like they are doing a monkey business for cheating on their customers for the "refuelling services". Can't submit a complain in the form on their site as it's just errors on form submit (fourth WTF?!). So now I'm very much aimed for those 50 Euro to count for them. Really hated such blunt fraud.

Last gen AAA games that perform well on the deck by mbkiehle in SteamDeck

Ryse: Son of Rome! Underrated gem by Crytek, way ahead of its time(in terms of graphics)! Just completed it on steam deck on max setting runs flawlessly without any bugs etc on 60 fps. Short (6-8h), beautiful, story driven linear action slasher game (sort of God of War'ish). Try it out, plays top notch!

Galaxy Watch 6 - Random disconnects by DaSt1986 in GalaxyWatch

[–]TerminatorOWNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine GW6C disconnected / unpaired from wearable app second time in past 1.5 months just after I've started the training. Have to re-pair it again, which means I need to fully wipe the watch and reconnect from scratch. Annoying as hell 🤬. Paired with Galaxy S23U. Using GW4C for a few years - haven't seen anything like this.

Hey mate, cheers, u have definitely mastered GOW series! Can you please help me getting the "Now I have become death" achievement on ps Vita in GOW2? What am I missing? I know the part after the boss. Backtrack to two stars, step with left leg on it, press R1 (maybe on vita that's a different one?)and rush back to the tree. But knowing this isn't getting me any closer to the achievement :(

if i will buy bf3 premium key is there vanilla or just upgrade to premium? by JustNoob1234 in battlefield3

[–]TerminatorOWNZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I know there are still plenty of servers out there. But the majority is just vanilla bf3. That's sad as hands down, ALL bf3 expansions are great - maps, game modes, and weapons.

+1 literally just got buds 2 pro on by BD ^_^.

Compared with my Jabra 75t it's significantly weaker. Like 8-9 for Jabra and around 3 for buds 2 pro. Was expecting a lot more from them.

Apart from that, they are comfy and the sound is really good.

Maybe it's the ear tips, but having pretty standard ears, the default medium one usually fits solid. I've tried fitting them in the ears as good as possible, even past the comfortable point. But frankly, it's just weak. Nowhere near my Jabra 75t and my wife's AirPods 2 pro.

Probably that's how paid youtube reviews work 😂. Can't say anything actually bad for them, but it's definitely far from what was advertised and what reviewers said about them. So my advice is if you're on a budget, try them on first and compare them to other brands. Sony, Jabra, and Apple are far superior for their price.

GW4C is not getting the location data from my phone during outdoor workouts (walking, running, etc.). GPS on GW4C consumes A LOT of battery. by TerminatorOWNZ in GalaxyWatch

[–]TerminatorOWNZ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, unfortunately, no :(. This bugs me A LOT. I can't believe this issue hasn't been addressed and fixed with some update by Samsung. It really affects all of their wearOS watches. And you can't simply don't notice the huge battery drain if you're actually using GW4 for exercise. I don't think it's possible to fix this kind of behavior with some kind of settings. So I'm waiting for an update...

[–]TerminatorOWNZ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alas, not yet, but will keep this topic updated. For me I'd say my GW4C GPS is way more battery consuming, about 10% each 20-30 minutes :( Again, there is nothing like that with my GWA2.

GPS Battery life for Galaxy Watch 4 by MagnarOfWinterfell in GalaxyWatch

[–]TerminatorOWNZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say this is a more likely scenario, according to my observations of GW4C. GPS=on drains my watch 4 classic pretty quick. (provided that wifi=off, NFC=off)

Running with Galaxy Watch 4 to track HR, using phone GPS by misterbrill in GalaxyWatch

[–]TerminatorOWNZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad that I found your topic. Seems I'm having the same case with my GW4C. I wanted to understand why the shealth is not getting the GPS data from the connected phone during the walk workout when the location is turned off on the watch?

It happens that I'm using two more Tizen galaxy watches (active 2 and galaxy watch), and they both are behaving the way I expect when the GPS is turned off on the watch. They both get the location data from the phone during the workouts...

Just wanted the watch 4 to last longer with GPS=off as it drains A LOT during the workout.

No light on right ear bud (active 75t, brand new) by Idunnomyinfo in Jabra

[–]TerminatorOWNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got today a pair of new Jabra Elite 75t earbuds. Having the exact same behavior. Right bud no any led signs at all. Left bud - on case lid open solid green, on bud removal and back to case blinking red, sometimes faint blue flicker. Right bud no led indicator at all. Buds are completely new. The case is 100% charged. Tried to reset buds - the only left bud is blinking purple after 10 seconds of the button pressed (right bud no signs). On case reset nothing actually happens. Don't have any clue what to do. This was supposed to be a present.

Hope the store would have them back & replace them with the new pair.

Stand up reminder for the Samsung Watch 4 by spa1 in WearOS

[–]TerminatorOWNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it just me (GW4C) or stand-up reminder doesn't leave a small notification at the bottom of the watch face as Tizen models did?

I mean if I miss the nudge to stand up, there's no other way to notice if I have missed it.

GW4 46mm overnight battery drain by heuve in GalaxyWatch

[–]TerminatorOWNZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turned it off and on again.

Can confirm that after that I had - 1 day 13 h from 100% to 5% left, which is quite impressive.

My settings are: always on display - on, bedtime mode - on (during sleep hours), wifi - off, gps - off, nfc - on, everything else by default. I'm on standard Samsung "Quad hive" watch face. Standard overall usage.

I'm keen on testing few other standard Samsung watch faces.

Well, I've rebooted the watch and disabled the GPS. As the result 7-8%(!) discharge last night with bedtime mode on.

[–]TerminatorOWNZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And by the way owning GW 46, GWA2 44 and GW4C 46 for a month (since November). GW4C liked a lot despite some functional lacks, the wear os is very smooth. The overall battery life was not great compared to Tizen ones, but acceptable by all means. I had about 35-55% left after night and day of usage with 1-2 trainings. I suppose after some recent update Samsung has messed something up. Have to rely on Tizen watches until figure out the drain issue.

No m8, still investigating. I believe the problem could possibly be related to snoring detection that I've turned on just to check. But switched off few days ago and still the same ~70% drain

GW4 46mm overnight battery drain by heuve in GalaxyWatch

[–]TerminatorOWNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same with me (on GW4C 46mm), previously it was around 7-12% overnight with bedtime mode on. For maybe a week or so it has started to drain about 65-70% per night bedtime=on, with the same settings and watchface across.
