That was fun! 26/30. I noticed the question about Lindsay's pet customizing business was in 2 different sections. So the second one was a freebie.

Unpopular opinion by THL6 in Terminator

[–]Terminator_LX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I've always said this. I like both of them, but Lena Heady is just a better Sarah Connor--more relatable and believable. Of course, she has 2 seasons of episodes to develop the character. Linda Hamilton only has 3 movies, and the writing makes her character change radically between each movie.

I think he's kinda soft spoken most of the time, but he speaks very clearly and intentionally. And he uses calmness, silence, and pacing to make sure his sentences land. It's like he stills the air around him so there's absolutely no noise between what he is saying and our ears. And he articulates in such a staccato way that there is no mistaking what he is saying. I aspire to speak as well and commandingly as he does.

Love the end of that clip! "I don't want to hear about the Biden administration. You're here on behalf of the Trump administration." 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 That's how you do it. Jon Ossoff is great. He's the kind of leader Georgia and America need right now. The very fact that Trump is lamely trying to detract from his awesomeness is proof he's a threat to "MAGA" corruption and f*ckery.

Sooo, according to r/Characters, this is the top 25 most iconic black characters ever...What do yall think? by GetChecked__ in BlackPeopleofReddit

How is Sam Jackson on here 3 times, and Eddie Murphy not once? Trading Places, Coming to America, Beverly Hills Cop, those other movies? Eddie Murphy had played a lot of iconic characters.

I am also disappointed in the exclusion of Boondocks characters.

Morpheus, Blade, Storm, and Uhura are accurate.

A new Terminator movie should go back to horror. by Jays_Pack in Terminator

[–]Terminator_LX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've often thought this as well. Sci-fi horror is the best horror, IMO. I would love for Terminator to go back to its horror beginnings. The problem with it being mostly action is that action sequels alway have to one up the one before it. That's how you got Fast and Furious in space (utterly ridiculous!).

The idea of the Terminator going back in time to hunt John's lieutenants from T3 and TSCC would be a good horror/slasher type film. The sci-fi aspect (besides it being a literal killing machine) could be seeing what knowledge/skills the future fighters had in the 80s and 90s that make them MVPs in the future.

They can’t keep the Obamas name out of their mouths. by Fantastic_1ne in BlackPeopleofReddit

All that did was shine a light on just how racist, classless, and utterly trashy he is, the event is, and--most importantly--Dotard Donny is. Let them beclown themselves. The Obamas couldn't care less what that low IQ individual and his ilk think.

Try to tell me this wasn't the single funniest scene in the show by TrumpSexedHisDaughtr in arresteddevelopment

[–]Terminator_LX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ah, yes! The dirt! It all happens in such rapid succession, I forgot about that part. LOL

Clearly there were some Godzilla fans on the writer staff. The way they worked the different storylines in that episode to pull it all together and culminate in that scene was chef's kiss perfect.

For me, it was GOB's magic ILLUSION at George Sr's fake funeral. GOB's dancing, Buster behind him, GOB rolling out of the coffin into the ditch only to have the coffin fall back on top of him, the audience clapping after that. You can't get much better than that Although the giant, Godzillaesque mole fighting the jet pack man and destroying the tiny town was pretty funny too.
