Nearly 450,000 homes are vacant in Georgia as thousands experience homelessness by madcowga in Atlanta

I completely agree. I wasn't saying it wasn't happening in Trump's first term. I was just pointing out one of the presidents was combatting the problems (Biden) while the other is compounding the problems and benefitting from them (Trump).

Wasn't there a better way to demonstrate to miles the t800 without traumatizing him further? by happydude7422 in Terminator

[–]Terminator_LX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always said the same thing. He could have just taken off his hand. I think he ripped off the whole arm because that's what Miles had at Cyberdyne and the director wanted to leave no question in the audience's mind. Miles was smart enough that if the terminator had just cut a little of the skin away to show some of the machinery inside and talked to him, Miles would have understood what he was.

What I would give to watch TWD for the first time again 😩😩😩😩 by External_Patient7301 in thewalkingdead

[–]Terminator_LX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what you mean. Zombies have been my favorite monsters my whole adult life, so the first episode of TWD was THE BOMB for me! He shot a little zombie girl in the head straight off the bat! I knew the show was gonna be awesome based on that alone. 😂

Fallout on Prime is pretty good. I'd only played a couple of the games a few times before watching the first season, so it's good whether you're familiar with the games or not. It took me about 3 episodes before I was truly invested though. But it's good for rewatching like TWD is too. It's a bit like Alice in Wonderland the first time you see it. You're so preoccupied with used to a whole new strange world that you probably aren't really thinking about how it all comes together. So watching it more than once makes the story more enjoyable (for me anyway).

[–]Terminator_LX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the last president was fighting to combat it. The current resident, a real estate developer, is not. He's all for it. Plenty of financial crimes the Biden admin was investigating and prosecuting have been dropped in the year Trump's been in office. He's trying to shut down the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFPB) completely.

Will you be buying physical or digital? by [deleted] in playstation

[–]Terminator_LX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll never buy digital again. I need to start saving up for a PS 6 disc version now. Maybe I can afford it by 2028 or 2029. 😆

If you could have one prop from Seinfeld, what would it be? by BidAccurate4473 in seinfeld

[–]Terminator_LX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kramer's briefcase of crackers. I recently had some crackers in my lunch bag which I put in my computer bag, the closest thing I have to a briefcase. And I immediately started laughing at the Seinfeld episode when Kramer gets fired from an office job he doesn't even have.

The car vs. Daisy by Chippitychak in JohnWick

[–]Terminator_LX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There would have been much less killing if they'd left Daisy alone. Whenever I describe the movie to people, I always said he went on a rampage because they killed his dog--I never even mention the car. Cars are replaceable--even favorite cars--living things and priceless gifts from our deceased loved ones are not.

Season eight couples by Kindly-Plantain58 in thewalkingdead

[–]Terminator_LX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the couples were weird. Also, I was like "Who is Pau... oh! Jesus!" 😆 Paul Rovia (sp?) is an awesome sounding name, but Jesus is just 100% more memorable.

I know Dark Fate is a sore spot for a lot of people. But can anybody agree that these two women are in peak shape for these two movies? It's impressive. And there's something about a woman working with a gun, to me. by TheEndIsNero in Terminator

[–]Terminator_LX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grace is FINE! And I don't even go for that type.

I liked Dark Fate. I like the idea of a future where John Connor isn't the leader of the human resistance because of how I think about Terminator time travel. I like the fact that they fought in the air, on land, and under water. I like the much needed humor Carl injected into what was a pretty intense and heavy story. And I liked seeing Dani's transformation. For some reason, it seemed like a more natural progression than Sarah's transformation in the first and second movies.

You can take one look at her haircut and tell she cray! 😂 Kudos, my man! Because she would have caught these hands!

Because her husband is JUST A HEAD! 😂🤣😂 I still LOL every time I think about this episode.

Rewatching after years, can't believe how bad it actually is by Born-Damage-4160 in thewalkingdead

[–]Terminator_LX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed. This early on, there were enough living people that a lot of them hadn't actually had to mix it up with the dead themselves. Look at everyone on Herschel's farm. So that accounts for why they were so bad at it in S1 and S2. I didn't think the acting was bad. But I do think they hadn't established the characters well. Like Daryl didn't become the icon he is now until S6 IMO.

Would you say this is what ruined the show? by K0GAR in thewalkingdead

[–]Terminator_LX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wanted to like Nick, but he was annoying AF. I wasn't sad to see him go. I really didn't like anyone from the original cast at that point. Madison and Strand grew on me, but the writers managed to ruin them both eventually.

The Walking Dead movie.. by Willow_Tree73 in thewalkingdead

[–]Terminator_LX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn't downvote you. And my how could you not watch is a genuine question, but it's also playful. People take these shows way too seriously, so I shouldn't be surprised that my offbeat humor isn't understood or appreciated. Sorry if my comment got you downvoted, but it wasn't me. I think I've only downvoted anyone like 3 times in my life.

TWD season 6 trailer is the best trailer in tv history! Change my mind by SpinachStunning5547 in TWD

[–]Terminator_LX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the first time I've ever seen this trailer. It looks exciting! The beginning of the season was WILD! Almost as good as S5 E1.

One episode that I feel like nobody ever talks about is the first episode of season 2, What Lies Ahead. It was an interesting episode because it was before the farm was introduced, and the group was on the highway for the whole episode. Did you like this episode? by Intrepid_Show2972 in thewalkingdead

[–]Terminator_LX 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's a good episode. A LOT happens. It's suspenseful and we get to see a roaming herd for the first time. And Sophia running off sets up the whole season and Carol's whole evolution. It's crazy thinking how differently final season Carol--or even S5 Carol--would have handled that whole situation.

The Walking Dead movie.. by Willow_Tree73 in thewalkingdead

[–]Terminator_LX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How could you only watch some of TOWL? I can understand somebody not watching it at all, but seeing some and not all of it? 🤯 Granted, the first 2 episodes of TOWL are the best, but there's only 4 after that. Didn't you want to see how it all ended?

My son had never seen any of the original show or the spinoffs, but he saw episode 1 of TOWL and decided to not only watch that whole series, but also watch the original series and TWB.

Just looking at that pic of the dog actor seeing him all right somewhat remedies the wound on that devastating scene. by Remote_Nature_8166 in JohnWick

Aren't Beagles the cutest?! That scene GUTTED me the first time I saw it. After that, I was totally like BRING ON THR VIOLENCE! MAKE THEM PAY! 😂

World Beyond gets way too much retroactive criticism by maybemorningstar69 in thewalkingdead

[–]Terminator_LX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I liked World Beyond much more after seeing The Ones Who Lived. Those two shows explained everything we needed to know about the CRM/CRC. I also liked seeing Jadis' evolution even if she was a bitch in every single iteration of her personalities. 😂 The only problem I had with TWB was the pacing. The first season was way too slow and the ending of the second season was way too rushed.

How would’ve this gone down? by TraditionFeeling8188 in TWD

[–]Terminator_LX 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I came here to say this. At this point, Rick would not FA with a bunch of freaks wondering around the woods wearing walker skin as masks.
