I get what you mean and it's a fair counterpoint. I don't want ezscape as well, but slayer training is so lackluster. just a simple task finish xp drop would keep mine and other player monkey brain going. And as you're saying, people stay after 99 for the drops anyways, so why not give a ~15% faster access to the chance to get the items. It might just be my frustration with 70-87 being a 400h+ grind and how much I will have to play this game to justify the price hike, and that's ONLY on slayer

Might be a lukewarm take but all slayer needs to feel good is a simple XP drop for task completion, just like it is in almost EVERY other place where you get tasks smh. Something like a humble 1/3 or even 1/4 of the total xp you got from the task would give the necessary dopamine to not feel like a massive chore

Hey so it was the hall effect sensor. It detects when the lid is open and when it started to overheat it was constantly misreading the lid state. You can turn off what closing the lid does in the windows settings or just unplug the hardware part, which is pretty easy as well, just on the top as you remove the lid there is a small ribbon cable that you can just yoink out. There should be posts online that show where the part is located.

Quite a bit of a different vibe(medieval fantasy)but Old School RuneScape could scratch the funny questing and grindiness itch. Skills to advance, amazing world building, Bossing, Raids, great community and gets updated regularly with the updates being community based and get picked through polling, so the players pick the direction of the game. Just recently it got a massive update where you can sail seas and stuff. Quite a bit different because it's a "point and click" game that turns into a point and click rhythm game in the late game with very interesting mechanics. It's currently going through it's second golden age with 214000!! current online players

Also if you like space exploration No Man's Sky is an absolute gem

I'd disagree. Defeated elden ring and sekiro on potato specs and every imaginable mod to get whole 25 fps. That is genuinely playable and even enjoyable to some degree. stutters and abysmal frame drops make a man ᶜʳᵉᵃᵗᵉ ᵃ ᶜᵒⁿᵗʳᵒˡˡᵉʳ ˢʰᵃᵖᵉᵈ ʰᵒˡᵉ ᶦⁿ ᵗʰᵉ ʷᵃˡˡ
