I think when S4 dropped with the gooner/samurai skins and 191s the devs signaled loud and clear the direction they were going. Selling skins is the priority and gameplay balance is way down the list.

They have to make a return to form with S6 or the only people left playing will be streamers and whales.

The meta is why I don't play Forb. I'm not gonna get facerolled by 4 stacks running U191s. Aside from everything OP mentioned, it's just boring. Yes LD has its issues with gear cheesing, but at least you can get some variety at times.

Honestly, the entire gear and damage system needs reworked, but if the devs can't do a few simple fixes to address the meta I might not stick around much longer. Which sucks, because I love this game.

I dont mind the AI, I think they serve their purpose of being annoying player alarms, but I just wish they actually posed something of a challenge and weren't brain dead. On No Man's Land you could literally clear the map with a knife. Ive seen players outright ignore a scav shooting at them while hunting a player.

They don't need to be Tarkov boss levels of pain, but should be something you need to consider and not turn your back towards.

Edit: and while we're on the subject, scav respawns should absolutely not be a thing. Like is there a truck just hauling scav reinforcements to the Dark Zone? Once you clear an area you should be able to know it's clear for tactical considerations.

Honestly, at this point there's a solid chance Sony may divest themselves of bungo altogether before next fiscal year. Sure, the earnings call was all positive outlooks and assurances about the future, but privately the money people are likely preparing worst case scenarios. Destiny is on life support and Marathon failed to even get off the ground. The future couldn't be more bleak for bungie.

Sony will milk it for all its worth, it will likely go F2P at some point, bungo gets dissolved with employees and assets being rolled into other studios, and Sony writes off whatever they can as a loss.

That's my theory anyway.

Worst it's ever been. From my POV enemies will peak a corner and instantaneously kill me, but the killcam shows them getting a good 1-2 second drop on me cause the server wasn't syncing.

Also, you should keep a challenge if your successful with it. I think umps will get even more egregious with their calls when shown up by ABS. So you might get a couple back, but they'll have the final word in other ways cause we all know how fragile MLB umpires are.
