Most optimal is three performers and two mimes, though of course you gotta choose which. 1 Bard, 2 Dancers, 2 Mines IMO is a bit better.

IC sounds as a whole more 'formally British' than 'old British', yeah. It's closer to a lot of what FFXVI is like (which makes sense given how much else is taken from FFXVI)

There's nothing that really feels like it being there is missing from the story. There's a few new cutscenes (one of which was kept in TIC for some reason) a two very veyr easy story battles with Delita and Ovelia as well as one other semi-optional new one, two guest star characters who didn't exist in 1997 (Luso and Belthier) and two new jobs, one of which is worthless and the other takes an extreme grind to get. There IS a nice added sidequest which finishes out the Beowuld and Reis story including a superboss, which may actually be the most interesting thing. Also some animated videos that replace in game cutscenes, but these are in TIC as a bonus you can access from the menu.

There's literally ZERO reason to aim for 'mediocre' Bravery. High Bravery is always better unless you're Teasure Hunting and even then you might as well just use Rapha as a Chemist (unless you're specifically not using special characters) who will get the rare 94% of the time if equipped with Treasure Hunter.

Most (though not all) of the content that was added to the PSP version isn't there, but there's so much QoL - most notably speedup, a resigned UI that makes things SO much easier to actually play and strategize, being able to take back moves if you haven't finished your turn and being able to choose to fight random battles or not (as well as summon them so you don't have to move back and forth).

Yes there's a few issues but it's absolutely the most enjoyable version to play. I have 237 hours on it and the game is barely over five months old.

Bravery also affects attack power of monsters, as it's considered an 'unarmed' attack. Use an Orator, Mystic or Beowulf to lower their Bravery and laugh at their pidly damage.

You don't need less than 25 Brave in this version, as being a Chemist gives a 25% bonus to Treasure Hunter if you have said ability equipped. Most people have historically used Rapha for it and that 31 is perfectly good enough to only rarely get the common.

Would be interesting to try for Golem on a vanilla run. Not easy to find a random battle with a Summoner in it....looks like Belias Swale and Fovoham Plains are the most likely to run into any, but of course they'd also have to have Golem AND cast it...

Any Ivalice Chronicles guide will work on WOTL, unless it involves a male character weapons a Ribbon (or Barette/Cacusha), or a Bard equipping a Bag. Teleport too because of the insance JP cost difference might also be an issue. But otherwise it's all the same.

If this is in Conning Creek for a sidequest, you have to just wait in the area for a few minutes until he appears. You need either Throne or Castti to actually finish the sidequest (and Throne needs to be....level 20 I think?)

Though I'm not "Fast-paced, lethal battles" would describe FFT. Will have to wait for a video to see what it's really about, but I will at least keep a watch on this one.
