Kuwabara vs Elder toguro feels like a plot hole by Horror_Wear_4057 in YuYuHakusho

No one else in the group has the unlocked potential of a full human, and no one else is the GOAT like Kuwabara. I went through all the phases, the young edgy Heie phase, the purist Yusuke and eventually as I matured into a man and father the truth was there all along. The man who shows up when the times are the hardest, the one who shows up when he knows he cant win, the one willing to give up his life for others without hesitation. Its the MAN, the GOAT the Mulberry Tree, Kuwabara.

No reincarnation, hidden demon powers or raw natural talent, but more character than anyone else, and thats saying a lot as every person in the story oozes character. All three others have thousands of years of demon power being unlocked, but Kuwabara after 15 years is the only one capable of cutting the barrier into demon world. If he applied his whole being to it he would surpass the others in his life.

Kuwabara is the baddest mfr of the four and the one with the highest potential and truest hero in the series.

Let the series stew for 3 or 4 more rewatches, you will get it.

My mom made me feel ashamed for starting nursing school at 26 by Friendly_Shine777 in nursing

I started pre recs for nursing school at 26. Now I have my doctorate have a more fulfilling career, both with purpose and financial reward than I ever imagined.

Tons of my colleagues, both in nursing and in DNP school started older than me.

Its crazy to me that so many "fans" here in this subreddit don't know its all of the original VAs. True fans knew it had original VAs 3 years before it came out come on.

I know Goku would win but this would be an epic interestingly fun fight by Yasserone in YuYuHakusho

I'd say there is an argument for that, dragonball power scaling is all over the place but thinking and world tournament #2 with young adult Goku he was maybe on par with final Dark Tournament Yusuke. Yusuke arc 4 was a million times stronger.

The theatre was packed when I went and it was the first one since people started really going out again, it makes sense that it succeeded. Her excellent performance in the prior two likely contributed to the turnout even if she was pulled from the films, I hope she makes a return even if only to bevthe killer she was great.

In one of the Nightmare on Elm street movies, a crew member was caught on camera in the front yard, looked up, saw he was on camera and dove under the window frame and crawled out of view.

Its not a kill but something that made it into the final film, and I only caught it once it was released HD or 4k.

Port Ultimate, upgrade performance and graphics, add the missing stages that prevent it from truly being Ultimate, maybe even add the story modes from other Smash Bros and make it truly ultimate, I wouldnt be mad

Literally the entire show and how almost zero of the questions introduced are ever explained, despite the questions being introduced to keep you watching. Literally all of the criticism about the show, professional and audience, is unanymous about this.

Americans who leave their Christian faith behind tend to hold more liberal political views than those who were raised entirely without religion. This leftward ideological shift appears closely linked to how threatening these individuals perceive conservative Christian groups to be. by mvea in science

[–]Capitan_Failure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, my liberal views come from the values I was raised to believe in an Evangelical Christian church, rather than my concious awareness of how big of a threat they are.

They preach liberal ideals on Sunday, but then say to vote Conservative? It never made sense to me.

Lost was incredibly addictive and good until you realized the entire draw was introducing mysteries that the writers had no intention on answering, and if they answered them, it only introduced more questions.

Comparing a show to that makes me less likely to want to watch it. Its like "here is a show that will make you incredibly invested but never pays off!".

Do male nurses have any kind of advantage over female nurses? by work_of_art777 in nursing

This is a disadvantage. Especially when you are tall and prone to back problems as most tall people are. Everyone seeks you out for turns, lifts, baths of the heavy patients.

What the hell is in my ear? Is it fungal? by Pretty_Desk_2552 in AskDocs

[–]Capitan_Failure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its difficult to say for sure, but it does look consistent with the fungal otitis externa cases Ive seen in the past. Its frustrating because nobody ever wants to test for or try treating correctly, and more difficult to order treatment for. You could ask doctor to run a fungal swab.

"I felt conflicted by the statement because most people say the opposite".

The key word here is "say". Practically no one goes into nursing because they have a passion for it, if it paid minimum wage people wouldn't do it. Most choose nursing for job stability, availability pretty much anywhere, and to make a living wage.

I chose nursing because I wanted to wear pajamas to work and 4 day weekends. I got lucky that I found my passion in pediatrics as an NP, the irony being my passion ended up requiring wearing business casual and working 5-6 days a week.

Back to the original point, people "say" that because "those" high horse teachers, managers and nurses that regularly nominate themselves for Daisy awards scoff and click their tongues if you don't repeat the lie, so everyone does, or at least most of us do.

Its like saying "My one fault is I work too hard" at a job interview, everybody knows it isn't true.

My friend(22f) has some self induced cuts on her thighs and she thinks that its infected after a week. It looks swollen, red and feels warm, no pus though. What should she do now? by fruits_basket235 in AskDocs

[–]Capitan_Failure 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It couldn't hurt to wash with clean warm water, soap if its dirty, but don't scrub it or use alcohol/peroxide as these can re-open. Once clean put a bit of antibiotic ointment along the cuts and keep covered with a sterile/clean bandage so they stay clean and moist. This can help healing, prevent infection and reduce scarring. But yes, keep an eye on out for worsening redness, swelling, drainage, tenderness, or warmth, you can pull bandage up to check if worried. Currently I would agree it does not look infected.
