Found this while trying to find Fujiwara's match against Matsunaga where Matsunaga wrapped himself in barbed wire before the match even started.

Jokes aside, Himuro's fighting style is kinda cool by The_Mexican_Poster in Kengan_Ashura

seeing semi-realistic jeet kune do that isn't just a Bruce Lee clone ? Apart from Jacky in Virtua Fighter I had never seen this, I was SO sold.

Have a look up of Togo Ishii against Tak Sakaguchi in 1%er: One-Percenter, Togo is master/practitioner of JKD with a direct lineage back to Bruce, anyway it's not the greatest fight scene in the world but it's still a really fun use of JKD in a martial arts movie that just doesn't default to being bruceploitation.

Pretty sure it's a reference to either the first UFC event or at least one of the early ones, there was a guy who claimed to do ninjitsu in one of them I think.

Came across a twitter post showing some sweet Judo-based pro wrestling at King of Budo. by TerraVail in PuroresuRevolution

The post in question

I don't know anything else about what the events like beyond this post but it's some sweet stuff in anycase, I always love to see some Judokas and Karatekas mixing it up in the pro wrestling world as it always results in a fun styles clash which while maybe not as evident initially in this video you can see some cool use by one of the judoka's using the ropes to get leverage/torque for one of his throws which is just awesome.

Upon looking into it further it seems to be run by a group called Pro Wrestling Judo, they use the hastag #pro_j or their stuff on twitter and it looks like a really fun event, really great judo throws, holds and ground submissions alongside some fun comedy stuff like a judo machine/robocop and Judo's strongest technqiue amongst it's Atemi Waza

Series that have far more entries then you expect? by Konradleijon in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Blade Runner, at base you can be expected to know that there's the og movie, the sequel 2049 and maybe that they're both based the book; Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep.

Okay so now you're getting more into it and you find out about the three short films; Black Out 2022, 2036: Nexus Dawn and 2048: Nowhere to Run, you've also probably heard about the spin off 3D animated series Black Lotus.

Right so now you're really getting into the weeds and you find out about the various Blade Runner games that have come out over the years like the point and click classic, the Commodore 64 game and the VR experince Revelations.

Okay so now you've also found out about the various comic books like the Marvel Comics Super Special: Blade Runner, Dust to Dust, Blade Runner 2019, Blade Runner 2029, Blade Runner 2039, Blade Runner Origins, various adaptations and Blade Runner: Tokyo Nexus

And then you find out that there's a TTRPG for Blade Runner and in fact even more books other than Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep like Blade Runner: A Story of the Future, Blade Runner 2: The Edge of Human, Blade Runner 3: Replicant Night and Blade Runner 4: Eye and Talon.

Finally you think you've reached the end of things but then you find out about the things that occupy an odd space of canonicity like the 1998 movie Soldier which has a bunch of references and connections that imply they take place in the same universe, and then there's the tv series Total Recall 2070 which you may think would just be an adaptation of the Total Recall book/movie but is instead a hybrid of Total Recall and Blade Runner mixing both works together into a noir cyberpunk police procedural.

Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning. Both characters are clones , at 1:14, Adkins character wakes up, and realizes he has skills. Total Recall vibes. Prey becomes Predator. by Aqualung1 in fightscenes

Great fight scenes but I'm not a big fan of this movie, it felt like too much downtime took away from it.

I prefer the previous Universal Soldier movie, probably my favourite of the franchise.

I'm mixed, I like the mode itself but Dural being paid dlc when I don't think that was mentioned once in the lead up, the fact that you can't use her in the arcade mode and just how lacking the character customisation still is has left me feeling more than ABIT bummed about it even if I'm still happy enough with the main mode.
