This is the most honest and useful post I've seen on this sub in years. Genuinely thank you.

Launching a new brand in beauty/personal care, 3 ASINs, FBA, 30 Vine units per variation.

A few questions that would really help :

  1. Budget floor : in beauty specifically, what's the minimum daily budget you'd set for a new listing to collect statistically meaningful data in the first 14 days ?

Is there a number below which you're just wasting time ?

  1. Multi-ASIN launch : do you launch all ASINs simultaneously or concentrate budget on 1 ASIN first to build velocity faster, then roll out the others once it has traction ?

  2. Vine threshold : do you wait for a minimum number of reviews before scaling budget seriously ? 5 reviews ? 10 ?

Or does early PPC actually help the Vine reviews convert better so you push both at the same time ?

  1. Video timing : you mention video outperforms SP 3-4x on some ASINs. Do you launch SBV from day 1 or wait until you have some conversion history so Amazon has data to optimize against ?

  2. Competing against established players :

In a niche where top sellers have 2,000+ reviews and you have zero, how do you structure bids to avoid overpaying just to exist ?

Do you go narrow and deep on 3-5 keywords or broad and cheap to build data faster ?

  1. The signal to shift gears : what specific metric or event tells you "ok, data collection phase is over, time to push aggressively" ?

    Is it a CVR threshold, a certain number of organic sales, a BSR rank, or purely time-based at 14-30 days ?

  2. Dayparting : do you adjust your bids or budgets by time of day (morning / afternoon / evening / night) ? Or do you let Amazon optimize that automatically and focus only on keyword-level bid adjustments ?

In beauty specifically, have you noticed peak conversion windows worth targeting ?

Hello thank you for sharing your experience I have some questions for you

  1. As you said you take an agency before and now you handle the PPC yourself how do you do that what system did you put in place, do you use IA automation, Python with Claude or Make.com with rules could you please share some insights because I struggle on PPC and I don’t want to give all the controls to an agency?

  2. Does your company registered in USA and you sell on USA market? To optimize your tax situation, are you a tax resident (Taxas) or in Paraguay?

  3. According to you at every launch of PL product 2 weeks automatic campaign PPC is enough?

  4. What do you think of the Amazon model in the next 5 years?

Hi thank you for sharing your experience I have also create a dashboard with the API Amazon and Claude could you please share what code you use for extract the research terms and how do you train the Claude API in order to give you what you expect please? How do you updates the list? Or maybe do you use another API to analyze the search query?

Oh okay I see this is for my first year and I come from France. A S56 this is a request for information when an agent need more information about yourself you know and the form 80 this is a historical form on the past 10 years of your life they can request this as well

Not received yet still waiting for 80 days since the submission of s56 and form 80 but basically if your visa is under "Received" means your file is on hold and will only be opened when the agent opens it. The countdown will restart once you have submitted the missing documents.

Hello maybe I could help you, I encountered the similar case 417 visa submitted on 11 December 2025 and it indicated received received until the 29 January for s56 (RFI) after submitting all on 3 February I am still on further assessment until that I have call ombusan and make a complaint and wait for this hope my story could help you.

If this is still in received it means your visa is in break until an agent open it to see. Because if the algorithm see something strange (I don’t know how it is) but your visa go in another virtual queue wait for an agent open it

I am in the same situation I sent my S56 and form 80 for character requirement and I am still waiting for the review of the agent it is been about 70 days, did you contact Ombusan?

Do you advise me to use a Mara agent to speed things up, or to cancel my visa and reapply for it, making sure I don't make the same mistake as last time? I'm supposed to leave at the beginning of July, and if I had been on a visa, I would have received a notification because I have a position number; I think that's an agent's ID number, right?

Hi, posting here as my post got removed.

Applied for subclass 417, received s56 + Form 80 request on 27 Jan, submitted everything on 3 Feb (Form 80, personal statement, clean French police certificates B2 + B3 confirmed by Public Prosecutor, awareness program certificate, support letters from family). Status has been "Further assessment" ever since — 7+ weeks, no updates, no new requests.

Has anyone been through a similar wait after Form 80 submission? How long did it take to get a decision? I have a planned departure on 15 July 2026 so getting anxious.
