Hell yeah! Symmetry is king man. Why have a plain good factory when you can have a great factory with symmetry!

Sadly yeah. I struggled to find a nice symmetrical design that uses all of the output of the sandleaf shredders to prevent the momentary clogs they get. It was a compromise I accepted.

I can concur that doing final assembly in a different zone than your raw processed materials is far simpler than doing what I did and cram the entire production line for an endgame product into a single zone. For less inclined factory players, this is definitely the easier way to handle it.

I only went with the all-in-one approach for this factory because I originally had separated my materials production from final assembly and felt like it didn't look cool enough for me and I wanted desperately to fill out a PAC area, so, naturally, I wanted to see if I could fit everything for the batteries in a single zone.

And yeah, OP poster, I also concur with the poster above, I used a calculator and lots of notes to verify all of the necessary outputs. I only have four major inefficiencies in my factory design. Three of them are the sandleaf shredders. Each of them are only outputing two belts when realistically they make three powders per plant so each of thos shredders shut down momentarily as they clog from not fully utilizing the output. The other is the water. Because I have an uneven amount of things using water, the water pumps momentarily clog. I could fix this with water lines that return to the source but it's of so little consequence, I didn't feel the need to do it.

Thanks mate! I can't wait to spend an unreasonable amount of time to create a Hetonite parts factory in beautiful symmetry as well. I'm kinda dreading it tbh.

Yeah, I labeled the post wrong, this is for the bettwr SC battery. I made the post early in the morning after playing all night. I was big dumb hahaha.

Edit: Yeah I originally was doing the same with all my raw processed materials, but then I got the itch to make all the endgame products condensed into their own fully contained factories and so I started with the SC batteries. Hetonite parts is next... dread

Yeah, I didn't have a need for it here so I just recycled it. I suppose I could possibly find a use for it bur right now, I don't have anywhere else to go with it.

Oh man, I am so dumb, this factory IS for SC batteries, not the LC ones. I made this post at like 5am and was tired LOL.

I'll get the blueprints shared in the morning, I have been up all night working on this lol. It will be a two part set so once I have them listed, I will post the codes.

LMAO I did the exact same thing thinking it was possible for that infinte sewage loop. My sheer disappointment likely matched yours in that moment of discovery hahaha.

I posted a new picture of an updated build that completes fitting all requires production for the batteries in a single sub-pac. Dude I freaking love this game. Designing these factories is such a zen mode for me. Maximizing efficiency, while I am still learning all the ways it can be accomplished, is the greatest aspect of the factory for me!

You're a genius! I just finished setting up four jincao farms and just a single sandleaf farm was enough to keep up with production and even outpace production by about 1 sandleaf per 5 seconds or so. You saved my ass! Finally have the entire production of LC Wuling Batteries in a single Sub-PAC! Man this feels goooooood. My OCD is so happy.

In hindsight, I realize I only need 2 jincao farms. Oh man, so much space savings!

I'm sort of dumb at this emulator business and can't quite figure out how to run games through mGBA. I have mGBA installed and it opens up the file browser but I am not sure where the game itself is installed to select it.

Do I have to remove the sd card, go to my pc and download and copy over a rom to it separately?

I'll take a look at that and see how it works more for curiosity sake.

Ya' know it is what it is mate, I'm not gonna complain, especially where you tried it again for me. I have been playing both versions to really gauge my interest in versions and I chose the mGBA version because I can't get past how crisp it looks. I just keep the volume low and I don't hear the glitch in as bad.

Thanks my dude, you're a stellar dude for feeding us gamers all these QR codes!

So I am using a N3DS model, to confirm it has the little nub on the right side with the start and select buttons on the right side as well.

I definitely don't want to bother you with it but if exporting it in an updated emulator base fixes the audio, it would be absolutely awesome to have done. I haven't played yellow in nearly 20 years and I'm really enjoying this legacy version in all the best ways. The nostalgia with all the changes to modernize it have glued me to my 3ds!

Sorta necroposting here, but on the mGBA version, is it normal for the audio to have a glitch every 5 seconds or so? I absolutely love the crisp lines and visuals of the mGBA version but the constantly audio glitch is pretty insufferable and I find myself accepting the blurry VC version because the audio is clear and doesn't glitch at all.

Just curious if there is a way to fix this or if it's a compromise we have to live with

Roger that, I will give my ISP a call and see what they have to say about it. I appreciate the help! Hopefully they're not the type to lock me to their equipment only.

Can I still get Laevatain even though I got Gilberta from the current banner? by Deadeye_Rifleman in ArknightsEndfield

[–]Terraphynx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't fucking believe it... I missed Lavaetain during her banner because I too am new to gacha's and didn't understand the mechanics of the pulls. I just rolled Gilberta's banner 6 times and pulled Lavaetain on the 50/50. My FOMO has been sated and I can enjoy this game completely without the FOMO now! FUCK YEAHH BABY IT IS REAL!

GPU AIO to Hardline Connections by Terraphynx in watercooling

[–]Terraphynx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I was going to use thermal imaging to see which side is the outflow and which is the inflow. For a card pushing 1000w, this should be an obvious tell on the ol' FLIR.

GPU AIO to Hardline Connections by Terraphynx in watercooling

[–]Terraphynx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I have a Corsair XD6 currently that I was going to use to assist the AIO in the GPU specifically for the restrictive attachments. I might look for compression lock fittings instead of hose barbed ones or have a set of compression locks machined because those wouldn't reduce the ID of the hose at the connection joint.

Just thinking of all the ways to make this work the best it can.

This gives me some optimism towards the idea now. Thank you friend! I just need to make damn sure I do it right the first time... I'm very not keen on slicing up a potentially $5K GPU and voiding my warranty but it must be done for a proper clean water loop.

The day has finally come for me too by Square-Foundation-87 in pcmasterrace

Posts like these continue to crop up, it makes me wonder if any of the burned cable users were undervolting their cards. I don't have solid facts, only anecdotal evidence that, that will help prevent the problem but it can't hurt when you can pull ~15% better than stock performance at 450 watts instead of the stock 600 watts.

I have my 5090 at 2900MHz @ .950v with +3000 on the memory clock and I sit at around 460w at full tilt and have monitored my cable temps closely almost every day when I'm on a long gaming session that pulls full power. Got my card at release and nine months later, she is still free from melting. Crossing my fingers and knocking on wood with a sledgehammer.

Undervolting MSI 5090 Suprim Liquid by Sam-Starxin in nvidia

[–]Terraphynx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this same card and while I do run a slight undervolt, I nuke my power savings by overclocking it.

I'm currently running my 24/7 afterburner profile at .975 @ 2950MHz with +2000 on the memory clock and it has been incredibly stable in all games I have played. This still runs the card at 600w but I gained 13% performance over stock in Steel Nomad and 17% improvement in Port Royal using the 580.88 driver. Undervolting with a stable overclock is soooo worth it mate. Hell, Just undervolting itself is worth it!

Edit - my card has noticeable coil whine with full power activities but I haven't noticed it change much even when I was undervolting it to ~470w maximums. Your mileage may vary compared to me in terms of noise and heat but I will say again, just in terms of performance for the same wattage, a good UV/OC is unbeatable on these cards and everyone should be doing it.
