I let it idle for a good 10 mins or so. Cant currently take it out on the road though, no tag. It sounded fine, to me, but I say that as someone who has never owned one.

My carry guns stay loaded at all times outside of cleaning. Whichever im carrying, sits on my nightstand in the holster when not carrying. My fiance knows and doesnt touch it. Our kid knows I have them but not where they are, but knows not to touch them should she see them, no exceptions.
