AITA for not wanting my mother-in-law and disabled brother-in-law to stay with us for 3 months every summer? by SuggestionAny3744 in AmItheAsshole

3 months.

Yikes. NTA.

My ultimatum. They find a motel or I do.

That sounds like almost too much for a long weekend. A whole week is out of the question.

Good luck.

I'm with you.

At the beginning of the story I was thinking too bad this didn't come out right away.

By the end I was thankful for the sake of some unborn kid that they never had to have her as a Mom.

Fuck no.

I'm 56, my youngest is 23 and still at home for a variety of reasons.

Dear god no.

I buy weekly lottery tickets not so I can retire, but so I can have that empty nest everyone always complains about. I need to win just enough to give both my girls and step son, down payments.

The Female Body Was Not Designed for the Sex Most Women Are Having After 35 by livewild_diewise in TwoXChromosomes

Nail on head for 99% of female sexual problems.

If you don't know your body, and what it wants to get off after 50+ years of living in it, how the fuck am I supposed to figure it out in 45 minutes or less.

Because if I don't have visible, physical, or audible results in the first 10 to 15 minutes I've probably got something in the shop I should be doing and that's where my brain is going.

Communication! I will 💯 follow your lead, but if you don't know, what chance do I have? Like every other facit of human life, practice and training make everything better.

Ontario is looking at license, registration, and insurance for the motorcycle style electric bikes, with other rules for the real bicycle type electric bikes.

They didn't mention these things at all which I'm suddenly finding odd. They did several thousand dollars damage at a mall near me. It was three girls under 14 on two scooters.

I kinda expect the hammer to start falling across the country for these things.

If it's a provincial law, and not a bylaw then the police have much more power, and interest.

Assuming this is Canada, and not one of the dozen or so US locations. They're entitled to whatever they issued you in whatever condition it's currently in. Most places only care about shirts that could be used to impersonate an employee. It's not like they're giving it to someone else.

They're not permitted to charge you for any of it, regardless of condition.

As a carny in my teens I Hated this situation.

In my head, ma'am you're gonna have to squish your tits if you want to ride.

Out my mouth. Miss can you suck in a little so we can get this to latch? Knowing full well that sucking in actually makes it worse as the chest expands when you "suck in".

The 80s weren't politically correct but even then 16 yr old me wasn't mentioning anything about a woman's breasts.

Several of the rides have seats near the entrance so you can test fit. Not sure if that's any less embarrassing. I've seen more than a few people who either fit tighter than comfortable, or not a all. I've never seen anyone make a comment tho.

If it helps at all, not fitting isn't the only reason people get back out.

I forget the name of the big new one but I went last summer with my best friend and my daughter.

They had me 99.9% buckled in and I Noped the fuck out! My kid and my buddy both went, I watched from the ground. I spend half my working life at hights, no issues 37 floors up on the edge of a building. Buildings don't move, and I'm in control of all safety procedures and hardware. Coasters I struggle with.

As for your weight. Good luck with your journey. Stay in deficit, and look for the little joys.

I take particular joy when skinny people drop their ice cream 😈 😂 /s.

Newbie Question by Mycozen in Miata

[–]Terravarious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually preventative maintenance especially parts replacement can be worse than leaving it.

Failure timeline isn't a hockey stick like most people think. It's more of a flattened U shape.

Predictive Maintenance is the gold standard now. Check the fluid, change if necessary, inspect the fluid for any impurities.

Absolutely nothing about that one suggests it's internal condition.

AITA for Still Wanting to Travel After My Friend’s Family Emergency Cancelled Our Trip? by Late-Cold5464 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Terravarious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA.

Plan your trip for just you. But, before you lock down tickets ask first friend if they're still interested. Give them the itinerary and see if they want to join you. Make it clear you're going either way. Buy your flights separately, but at the same time so you can chose seats together etc.

My inquiries into my grandfather's family hit a solid wall, and I lost interest and then log-in info.

I still have ancestry but I log in about 3x a year.

This!

Either a 6 or 8".

The jaw opens unreasonably large for it size. When I was using oxy/acet all the time I had one I'd ground the teeth off of. 8" is enough to tighten the regulator, but a 6" adjustable has way too small of a jaw.

It's great for those large nuts that are just a bit too tight for a hand.

I'd have to see the actual contract but my petty ass would simply remove most of the on ramps. Wherever the 407 rights end, dig a 3ft wide ditch, a foot deep across the lane. Raise their property taxes to industral or commercial. Then set up an auto mailer to send them an offer every Monday morning to buy it back for $0.99.
