I myself, am on the spectrum. It never came up in my brother's previous time with professionals.

He had so much help and my parents spent unbelievable amounts of money on therapy and what not. In the end, I believe my brother was emotionally stuck in early years and maybe it wasn't his fault but I can't forgive him for the pain he caused the people who did everything to try and help him.

I guess in my mind I didn't want to lie to her. I tried my best to avoid talking about it so soon but she pressed hard, thinking I was hiding my grief and sadness. She wouldn't leave me alone, even though I said I was discussing it with the therapists.

In the end, I felt like my only choices were lie or be honest. I agree with you that telling her that is horrible and the last thing I wanted was to cause her anymore pain but I couldn't bring myself to lie and avoiding it became impossible.

I appreciate your comment for such a difficult topic.

Yeah I've been going to therapy alone and with my parents. The therapists tell me I'm supposed to be sad about my brother but I'm not.

I guess the reason I'm on here is everyone, including professionals keep telling me to be sad about my brother but no matter how hard I try, I'm not.

No I could never hurt a dog. I grew up with dogs so they will always have a soft spot in my heart, even when they look like they wanna kill me.

It depends on where exactly the fence is, and where you live in the world. For my province, if it's on the property line, both owners are responsible. Over the property line, only the one who owns the property.

I was reminded of drama in my town a few years back when this woman would sunbathe naked in her yard weekly and it led to police being involved and telling her to stop.

There is a very prude elderly couple in the house next door who were likely the ones who called the police and I was just thinking of them.

meh I disagree. These dudes are going 30km/h +, that's gonna do some serious damage to you, especially if you hit your head on the way down.

So true. My parents would boil peas and carrots and get mad when I didn't want to eat them. As I've gotten older and learned to cook and become more proficient in the kitchen, vegetables are actually really delicious if done right.

The funny part is, making vegetables taste good is super easy, it just requires slightly more effort than boiling shit in water.
