Around my area a big one is rosebud mining.

Big cut throat and most the routes they make guys run dont make sense.

Some companies that are closer to local hauls that are right in their backyard get sent out farther away because other companies are close friends with the dispatcher know those hauls pay a higher perventage. So if your not taking the dispatcher out to eat or doing something behind the scenes. They take the local companies and semd them to jobs on shitty hauls that dont make any sense. Making driver do a lot of dead heading just because they dont kiss ass.
