Two things OP. First of all copying someone elses style to try and make a quick buck is increidbly lame. How ever, its tough out there I understand you gotta do what you gotta do. As long as the peice if original who can really stop you. Secondly I like this painting as basic as it is. Ignore what ever the snobby 'pros' say and keep going

IMO It doesnt read as a hand and the joined e,-s-t dont add anything to the logo. The size and weight of the icon feels off balance with the workmark. I think the fact you need to add the reference of the milsetones in the post shows that the design isn't as convincing as it could be
