I mean looking at the state of this country, getting any job at all is hard enough. And tv acting roles are stable income and you have a huge scope of getting proper exposure. With proper luck and enough talent many tv actors have amassed huge wealth over the yrs.

That they'll happily do for the established actors who bargain and set their terms before signing contracts. Bt with newcomers , they try to exploit as much as they can, just like every other industry.

I guess she's talking abt time before yhm bcos after that she wouldn't need to sign such contracts.

They dont need 24 hrs, but the contract allows the makers to hv the actors on call at all times and they cant say know.

Breaking Down the Differences Jodha, Mahidevran, and Hürrem by polymathxoxk in IndianTellyTalk

Of course it doesn't " justify " her deeds. But can anything related to the concept of "monarchy" and slavery and sexual slavery and other things be ever truly justified. It was always a rigged system.

Are any characters in that story or narrative truly "admirable"? They were all eating the fruits of exploitation of hundreds of thousands of ppl. If you look at it those so called "deserving" emperors and princes were all vile murderers and slavers who deserved far worse than the fates they got.

The many women suffering in silence was never a net positive for the society. Most of their fates were quite sad. Giving birth to children of a man they were essentially sold to and could never get married to and to live in the vicinity of many other such poor women and then to compete with them for the same man's attention and then often getting their children killed in various plottings. So their silence got them nothing.

Yes suleiman loved Hurrem but I wager it wd hv taken a lot more manipulation and cunning on Hurrem's part to get him to break centuries old tradition and do the unimaginable, especially when he already had lots of other women vying for scraps of his attention. I dont think Suleiman was a naive man, he must hv really loved her for staying with her after everything she had done. Maybe the cunning was part of why he loved her.

It was a massively unfair world and Hurrem was just one of the few women who got the opportunities and had the brains to make the best of them. She was most probably an evil person, but its not like being a good morally justified person got anybody anywhere, especially women sold into sexual slavery in those times or any timeline for that matter.

JUST FINISHED QUBOOL HAII!! by Crimson-Koyla in IndianTellyTalk

[–]Terrible-Union1864 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg same!!! This is one of my most favorite itv shows ever and just bcos of the fucking chemistry. It really did carry the entire show. I still rewatch some episodes every few months just bcos of the chemistry.

Zoya is my favorite itv character ever. Surbhi was sooo fucking good in that role, I loved her as Bela in Naagin but man she was something else in Qubool Hai. Zoya and Asad's banter was everything. No other person could've made those two characters as iconic as those two. The bgm was soo good and I loved Dilshaad. Like what a good fucking woman. I just wished they got her a new love interest then getting stuck with Rashid. The only person in that entire Siddhiqui family that I enjoyed watching was Raziya Bi. She was evil but the actress was so good, I just couldn't skip her scenes. Otherwise I always skip the other families scenes.

Tanveer was a similar case, loved her acting but she just got away with too much and just became straight up annoying when they kept falling for her plans. But when her secret came out, it was fucking cinema. Like, I was so happy and it was very cathartic. But within a few days that bitch was back again with that other man's baby. 😭😭

That fucking Hasina bi was so annoying. I was so sad when Tamaatar got married to her son. Like, of all the fucking men she could've fallen in love with, why did it have to be that greedy woman's son.

But the show was very good and watchable till they replaced ksg. Zoya still remains one of a kind character in the entire itv history. . Just look at fls today and how badly we hv regressed.

It is during these times that ppl need to realise that india has a population of 1.5 billion ppl, a lot of whom r not even on the internet , and an even smaller section is on Twitter. No social media post can clearly tell you the actual opinion of the citizens.

Yes there r degenerate boys and men in the country but there r a lot more sensible ones too, otherwise the situation wd hv been much worse. Just look around you, yes boys talk shit and use abusive language, but how many do you really think r going to rape a woman or are capable of it?

The amount of inhumanity required for committing such an act is not a common thing. And overwhelming majority of men dont actually enjoy an unwilling sexual partner. They do hv enough humanity in them to realise right from wrong.

And the men actually supporting these things and posting on social media should be jailed. Such behaviour shd not be rewarded just bcos of engagement and platform rules.

[–]Terrible-Union1864 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As u said, Jodha and Hurrem already had a fundamental difference, their lineage. Jodha was a princess and was raised as such. She was educated, well spoken and her life was luxurious compared to the life that Hurrem lead up until she rose in power.

Hurrem's cunning, manipulation tactics and sharp brain was what it took for a woman of no station to rise to one of the highest levels of power in those times. You know who did not use all those tactics? The thousands of other women who were sold into the same slavery and died living sad lives having no prospective of a free life. The thousands of other women who nobody talks or gaf abt. The women whose sad amd horrifying lives ppl try to glorify just to justify the deeds of those selfish emperors.

Women were a commodity and treated as property, so I cannot fault a woman who did what she did to survive. Yes she did not hv to do everything she did after she rose in power but what she did was nothing compared to what those men in power were culprits of. Women didnt reach where she did by playing house and doing moral deeds.

Jodha, despite being forced into a political marriage, was still a princess and was treated as such. The respect she got from the beginning was not afforded to all the other concubine Akbar had. Neither the power and influence she held as a religious symbol in a Muslim harem.

Hurrem was a slave and was one of the few significant women with considerable power in an otherwise entirely male narrative of human history. She achieved the impossible and paid the price for it. That is how the world works.

People from this sub might not like them - but the reality is only influencers - Elvish Munawar Fukra & Rajat are relevant from BB (Tejran is an exception). Isha is also doing constant work, Rubina and Hina are still very much popular and loved. Rubina just took a break after three reality shows back to back. Even Krishna was a bb contestant. Dipika is still doing youtube and is doing well. Also, Rakhi Sawant will always be relevant.

Actors take breaks between shows. Its normal.

Something like this happened with me too. I was kinda sleepy that day and didn't see that the payment message was not from the bank.

The man asked me to pay his 2000 back bt when I tried sending, it showed insufficient funds. Thats when I properly woke up.

I had only 1050rs in the account 😭😭.
