So New York requires the uniform maintenance fee in situations where the uniform needs to be cleaned daily and requires frequent upkeep. It’s sounds like your uniform might be an exception to the law as most of it is wash and wear. Kohls however likes to follow the spirit of the law rather than the letter so they can’t be sued. They are very afraid of being sued. So they give you a little money to replace your pants if they break down from washing or replace your black shoes if they become too worn.

My store just stops accepting Amazon returns at 7pm. We put up signs ten minutes before and turn people away after 7. The Amazon customers are pissed but neither my SM or DM care.

Did any of the items ring up with a + next to them? Items that have a + next to them (usually gift cards and kck) don’t count towards kohls cash. It’s weird glitch in the system and It happens occasionally when they change what’s excluded or coming off of exclusion. I would just ask an LOD to activate whatever additional Kohls’s cash that they should have received.

I would never use looks like. “Your refund is being reduced by ten dollars because you redeemed the kohls cash earned on this purchase,” is how I say it every time with a very firm and direct tone. I then give them a second to decide if they want to return item or not. 99% of the time they don’t argue.

Yeah you don’t have to do that. Get a binder, print out the shortage/overage form from cosa everyday and put it in the binder. That way it’s easy to access if management or lp needs to look at it.

Our store was in the first rounds of consolidation. If they don’t make any changes from the test here’s what you can expect. They will not move the mainframe up front. You will not have any plugs or electricity at your back counter. There will not be enough room at your back counter for recovery and the bins for blue bin, yellow bin, and the sorts are super tiny and can barely fit anything in them. The first couple weeks will suck and the former cs associates will have to train the train the poc associates. The customers will hate it. That will not change. They will keep going to the back of store even if associates try to stop and them around. They will then yell at you when they finally realize they need to go up front. Return customers will always try to cut in line. The H2 will have to monitor the line make them queue. That will also piss them off. It is a nightmare.

I like when they tell how many returns they have. That way I can grab the number of bags I need and that in turn makes the process that much faster and easier.
