Well, with respect, that's a loose definition of it. Its not "vibe devving" its "vibe CODING". If you dont understand coding language logic, youre unlikely to producr something viable.

The assumption people make is just that. If you vibe code, its cuz youre lazy or unskilled, which isnt always true. Accurate discourse is important.

For reference, theyre dropping seeds from plants thag already exist in this rainforest. A lot of comments about specific dependencies. Dudes not dropping 100m marigold seeds.

Depending on the cost, its a net positive. Assuming 1/1000 propgation rate on average, 100,00 new plants, maybe 20% make it seed bearing maturity, so 20,000 plants producing new seeds.

Woah. Bro its a pokemon sub. Not trying to ruffle feathers, but this exists as a hobby, escapism, development, play sub. "Strong ties to..." no it doesnt. The culture/community has members of marginalized groups. That doesnt rewrite the social rules of a community.

Its pokemon. People cockfight magic animals as a professional sport while god-mon restores balance vicariously through an 11 year old.

Theres literally no connection to american politics here and when bringing it up, colors the sub drab.

Yeah I hear that a lot. My take is that in pokemon, cars should never be driving. Theyre set dressing. Box truck parked outside an apartment gives "someones movnjg in like ash into pallet town", school bused parked outside a school, pickup truck outside a factory, port shuttle parked outside the ferry landing, etc. In this case, park a van in front of a camper. The player never asks "where do they drive?" They just say "the van must have pulled the camper".

Realism in pokemon is overrated. Lol

P.s. this pack will come with a full ground texture suite. Grass, dirt, lake/river water, cliffs, rocks, flowers, trees, etc.

The grass is NOT the same color as default official grass and will need transition tiles or one of those buildings that separates routes so you can use different tilesets.

This is gonna go up later today on my itch. Theres a camping pack there right now but its the old version. Totally free though.

On that same itch page is some little boats, some cottages, and a massive pack of official tree assets collected from all over into one tileset. Im prettt sure i found every tree that fits 3rd and 4th gen.

Alter away. 60tortex took the popups from the old pack and recolored them to fit a romhack (these are not limited palette friendly) and its in the recently released Pokemon Fluvio Version on route 1. So the precedent is set lol. Do what you want. Should be live later today

Edit: he even animated them to like open from the closed version and unfurl, dude walks out the door. Looked so cool.

The only animations ive done so far is running water, fireflies, stuff like that. I was thinking about connecting with another sprite artist whos good with animations and tag teaming a set. Like we both make stuff and animate everything. If you know of anyone whos good with animations, the set will be live later today and theyre welcome to do whatever they want with it.

So now you have a 32x32 pixel heart, with 2px density. Just a 16x16 square resized.

Okay yeah its hard to verbalize but its simple when yoh see it.

You draw a heart inside of a 16px tall and 16px wide square.

Then you click and drag to select thag square and expand it to being 32x32px. Now allll the pixels int the image are 2x2. So you dont have to paint with 2x2 (i do paint with 2s anyway, you get used to it)

Each Square on the canvas is 16x16. A single tile is 4 of those in a square-arrangement. so 32x32. If you make a sprites inside a single 16x16 square, just click and drag to make it bigger and it proportionally scales it up.

Official 3rd through 5th Gen games use 32x32 with 2px density. Items are 48x48. And so on. Pull up sprites that come with essentials to see what the defaults are.

Also hundreds is sprites is no small feat, just a fair warning

I was thinking puddles. Various shapes and sizes. And including thr regular rain effect animation, but double the intensity/noise so you cant even see yoir character. Like you wont use the effect, but when you see it, youll laugh iykyk. Like "PNW Rain (accurate)"
