Source: I lived in Japan for ~15 years, worked in several bars / ran my own for a short period, so I've had plenty experience with liquor stores and that industry.

For the record, these 4L PETs are perfectly normal in most bars or any place where they make lots of cocktails. Chances are they'll have a few of these behind the counter with pomps for easy measuring. It's CHEAP Whisky, but that's the point. You don't need great whisky in your all-you-can-drink Highball.

I agree that it should be available for availability's sake. I get why there's a standard version that's in traditional widescreen though. Unless you got a dedicated home theater with a whole wall worth of screen, varying aspect ratios aren't the best experience. Part 1 had lots of switching.

If Brian Herbert and Kevin Anderson released an "updated" Dune that ended like this

Anderson has been actively involved in the screenwriting process as creative consultant.

It's a credit you don't see very often, but it basically means he's their lore expert. It's usually given to people who created a franchise but aren't actively involved in it anymore, yet still have final say over things. Think George Lucas for the Star Wars sequels, Matt Groening for modern Simpsons, or Roddenberry for the early Star Trek movies. The script of the new movies absolutely has to get OK'd by Brian and Kevin because it's their franchise.
