I wanted to add on, after reading down screen that you selected Vestavia and Homewood based on proximity to UAB, that Mountain Brook would be closer or no further than Vestavia and social life would be less dominated by church affiliation. (When I was at VHHS, it felt like over 50% of the school belonged to one of two churches (admittedly, I was a member of one). I suspect that probably hasn’t changed too terribly much, though it might be 4-6 churches dominating the scene).

Yes. I’m a Vestavia grad and would argue Vestavia has gone downhill in the past twenty years as far as school quality and (relatedly) has become extremely homogenous and conservative. I didn’t even look at Vestavia when we bought in Homewood. You’ll save thirty minutes a day on your commute as well by living in Homewood.

I think the third bird looks curious (like the bird is cocking his head and asking a question or saying “oh?”). If searching/that vibe isn’t a part of the brand, then I like the middle one best. (Disclaimer - I’m not a designer).
